gentleman, humble, listener, teacher, funny, quirky, and an all round legend. no ego. listens to everybody and answers honestly. this is a man who loves and lives for the craft. a true legend.
He's an amazing conversationalist. He really drives everything forward and offers so many handles to the other people so it can keep flowing. God is there a more perfect man.
He’s so well spoken, and while that comes naturally for a man, in that age such as Mads, he forms his answers in a way that is so sophisticated and answers a question in more than one way. I think it’s that specific skill of his is what makes him such a great actor in playing multiple types of roles. His broad perspective and empathy gifts him his talent, which aids in how he has honed his acting skills. The fact that he openly speaks about the perspective of women talents in the film industry and vocalizes about how there should be more movies that has female talents, without the aim to masculinize them, and simply maintain their essence of femininity and womanhood, is very heart warming to see and hear. How can he get even more perfect?? I also notice how he never hesitates to mention the women in his life when he can- specifically his family. I will always stand by the person who said Mads was created as an apology for the existence of shitty men. I will never hesitate to get an opportunity to watch this man be in his element during scenes, he genuinely is a one of a kind actor who is still quite underrated . (Can anyone please tell me where I can watch the necessary death of Charlie Countryman?? I have been searching for weeks😭)
calling Hannibal a fallen angel and saying he’s happy to keep playing villains if Americans get off on it…he goes from insightful and brilliant to sassy in seconds and I’m in love ❤
Mads Mikkelsen is my favorite actor. He never disappoints me in the screen and during personal interviews. Amazing human being and easy on the eye, too!
Why do you think so? I think his acting career is great. He made many absolutely beautiful european films, he also made Hollywood franchises. And he's loved by critics and audiences)
@user-kr1rp9nk9d he's underrated in the sense that he works like hell and gets so little recognition I feel like his work should get more and he's so much better than some of the famous rubberish Hollywood actors. His passion is bigger too. And the way he surging now, he should be getting more involved in projects.
@LecterMikkelsen I like the way he's describing his career. He says that he's happy to be able to make home (Danish) films and doing Hollywood films as well.
One best actor at Cannes, two times winner of best actor at European Film Awards, one life achievement award at European Film Awards, 1 BAFTA nomination as best actor, 47 wins, and 50 nominations in total! He's not underrated.
Yes, Mads stick to the Nordic way. The films are so much better then these clown ass movies they are pushing in Hollywood. I have introduced many people to his foriegn films and they are amazed…i first seen him years ago in the Viking movie where he doesnt speak one word. He stopped me in my tracks and took my breath away. I was Soooo happy when i found out who that talented, beautiful man was. It was worth the wait.
Wonderful actor. Has a tough guy look, but expresses amazing emotional range. And outside of acting in interviews, he's quite funny and charming. Hopefully he's like that in real life too.
Ugh sorry but the people asking the questions are so annoying, it probably is the language barrier but also the questions are so narrow-minded it’s frustrating
