You’re not ready for ultraviolence 😭
i agree haha She elevates her own music time and time again
He is not!!
FACTS!! Like everyone of us!!
he is not ready for honeymoon
@nDNrMatt2 omg he is im so fucking excited
Does anyone else get overly excited when he’s blown away by the songs
YEEEES
IM LITERALLY ABOUT TO CRY!!
YESSS
I am grinning like a Cheshire cat
I'm in love with his reactions :,)
I'm so jealous he gets to experience this for the first time
I got real high once and It made me experience Lana's discography for the first time again
I swear 😭
K1MB3RL1 sameeeeeee
sameee omg
ughh literally
Came here just for the Gods and Monsters reaction. Didn't disappoint.
Same
watching now, haven’t seen it yet, fav track on that album, i’m excited
That song is my life rn
Her best song!
LMAO SAME
"Gods and monsters" is a masterpiece. I totally agree.
Literally. That's my most listened to song of hers. Of anyone's, in fact.
It's such a different unheard of style. like it's one of a kind really.
It’s my favourite song of all time
It hits hard every time. It also represents a dark period of my life that made me who I am. It's one of my favorite songs from her.
Very true
Jon is slowly turning into a Lana Stan and I'm here for it
he’s even wearing a floral shirt 👀💕
Same bro
Honestly ive never met a person who genuinely listened to her who isn’t now a Stan for life
Just wait for him to hear the Ultaviolence. In no time, he’ll be a Lana stan!
@@hitmewithyourvan6662 I like Lana a lot but it gets too repetitive to listen to in a long run
Suddenly I feel like driving the highway listening to Lana Del Rey's song with my imaginary lover. Thanks Covid, even the drive now is imaginary.
You can still go drive around.... gas is cheap!
Put her albums on and load a drive on youtube. There are some awesome video road trips out there. Like this one which is perfect for this: ua-cam.com/video/h5mGRGcZQgk/v-deo.html
I was watching this with Born to Die on. Sooo epic.
@@portee9113 this didn’t age well (at least in the u.s.)
Yesss you’re doing them in order!!!!! Ultraviolence is going to literally blow your mind.... good luck
AGREED Can't wait for the Ultraviolence reaction! As someone who really loves rock music, this was the album that transformed me from a casual listener to an actual fan. :)
yesss!
It is!!
i need that reaction!!
BLOW YOUR MIND
When he goes like “leave me alone” at the beginning of Yayo 😭
😭 exactly me
CANT WAIT FOR THE ULTRAVIOLENCE REACTION OMG
That bit about “if I get a little prettier can I be your baby” and her man saying “life can’t be that hard” really speaks to me. Idk what it says, but it says something
I also love the lyric “Life imitates art”
i love it when people realise how ridiculously underrated this woman is
Megan Thompson yooo I’m a lana stan but she literally has multiple songs with 200-400M views on youtube born to die is one of the only 3 female albums to still be charting in the top 200 for 8 years and Norman Rockwell is critically acclaimed as a masterpiece and she’s widely known across the globe she’s not underrated lmfao
Nayef Nowsher i’m referring to 2:43 , yes she’s very well known but a lot of her songs are very underrated. she’s not known worldwide as suppose to someone like Adele who sold out multiple concerts at wembley stadium yet she is at such a similar level. To me she is the best female singer of our generation and deserves the recognition. she hasn’t even won a grammy yet but cardi b has. but at the end of the day, she doesn’t need the grammys, the grammys need her 😎
Megan Thompson of course that’s true but isn’t that already well known that sales dont equal quality??? Everyone knows drake is overrated and even though he sells a shit ton he defo isn’t a top 50 rapper of all time
Nayef Nowsher i agree he isn’t. and that’s the thing the quality of her work is insane and i think it just deserves the recognition that other artists get. which is why watching jon react to her makes me so happy because it’s great seeing him realise how amazing she is
@@Dondraper87104 shes not nearly as mainstream as uou would think for such a talented creator
Admit it we all were the most excited for his cola reaction 😂
Me everytime I watch reaction videos for this album. HAHAHAHAHA
Ride - 0:48
American - 2:47
Cola - 4:19
Body Electric - 6:57
Blue Velvet - 8:19
Gods & Monsters - 8:29
Yayo - 11:24
Bel Air - 12:58
Like so others can see :)
Legend 👑
I'm glad he loved gods and monsters. One of my favorite lana tracks
I love you for doing this😘
A real one
Thank youuu💗
You mentioned it during 'Cola' so...
Lana refused to sing Cola live after the whole Harvey thing and even went as far as taking the song out from the streaming platforms, but it's available again since it's a fan favourite. She publicly said that it made her uncomfortable to sing that now and that she'll be retiring the track.
dollface why?
@@paolapaola5491 She mentions Harvey Weinstein in the song, and a while ago he was accused by several women of abuse, rape, etc. So she wasn't comfortable with the song anymore and didn't want to perform it, rightfully so.
All these years of listening to the song and I had no idea
dollface thank you
@@user-ti2ph6qb1y I never noticed cause honestly I didn't even know who Harvey Weinstein was and only was aware of this after he was accused and Lana talked about it publicly. Since he mentioned Harvey in the video during Cola I thought I would explain that she doesn't support him after the scandal.
I love how people after all these years can come across this masterpiece and be enthralled by it. this album changed my entire perspective on life and myself
Haven’t been this excited from a notification before
Her unreleased songs are her best and there’s so many of them. She’s a musical genius!
Literally over 200+ it’s insane i’m proud to stan a legend 🙌🏻
@@kimberlydelrey we stan a hard working queen
Omg I can’t wait until he reacts to them
I agree some of them are sooo amazing
Guys please suggest the most epic ones 😊I want to listen to them.
i swear it’s impossible to not love lana. the only people i know who “don’t like her” haven’t heard her songs really
Nirvana Grace With the excuse that her music is “boring”.
Because people are used to the same overused garbage beat. So when they hear real instrumentalization, it’s boring to them.
And they don’t even pay attention to the lyrics, which is another effect of listening to mainstream music. Just because it has a catchy beat, people think that it’s good or “excusable” the lyrics the song has.
Anna Jiroutova Not really, there’s people who don’t “get into the music”.
They just focus on the beat itself.
Ikr😩, she is just soo talented
And her personality is amazing like she is a really good person.
Nirvana Grace All my friends will complain even if I play her most popular ones.
You listened to us, YEAHHHHHHHH
I was really hoping you wouldn't skip on Paradise to go straight to Ultraviolence
okay but shes not the female weeknd, she came first, hes the male lana
ok no need to get all critical. he only just meant it as they are very similar, musically. quite a compliment bc they both have amazing artworks of songs and voices. plus he knew about the weeknd before lana, so ofc he is going to compare lana to the weeknd instead of the other way around. tht wouldn’t make sense.🗿
Not really. Abel released trilogy is 2011 and was releasing under a different name before that so I’d say they started around the same time
i remember finding out about both of them around the same time (2011-2012)
lana's first album is Sirens (2006)
@@anddsheshere__ Even Abel says he connects with Lana's music.
Before you react to her next Ultraviolence album, please react to Ride music video and Young And Beautiful music video. Young and Beautiful is taken from The Great Gatsby soundtrack. She should have won an Oscar for best original song! The 10mins Ride music video is just a fabulous cinematic piece of art and storytelling!
Thomas Lim absolutely yes!
OMG yes her earlier music videos are an art of their own, and tropico as well to acompany this album.
YESS !! 🤘🏻
The oscars and Grammys does not Deserve Lana del Rey. She is too good for this messed up music industry. 😢😢❤️
this era and the ultraviolence era were PEAK lana eras! born to die, honeymoon, nfr are all masterpieces in their own, but these two albums are what do it for me. if i wanted to represent lana del rey in a song, my pick would definitely be from ultraviolence and paradise
Katlyn Causey Same! Ultraviolence is so underrated imo, it’s so dark hence why Lana recorded it through her most depressing times, but thats what made it so authentic and really good
Jake Lewis how is underrated? was her first album 1# at billboard, and is like the fav of the fandom lmao
Jake Lewis Ultraviolence is everyone’s fav album only challenged by nfr lol not underrated
BTD and Paradise was her spirit amplified into the physical, representing her to the tea. But now shes grown a lot
Gods and Monsters is just fantastic.
Earlier than a white dad to an airport

So an Asian dad to an airport

Y’all just saying that I would not be mad if this dude ends up on Lana’s Radar and becomes Mr Del Rey. I can see he really appreciates her music and I feel that something she needs. Someone who appreciates her artistry.
Gods and Monsters is a MASTERPIECE. That beat hitting HARD on the second part of the chorus gives me life.
Do you know where your getting yourself into?? Just wait till you find out she has over 200 unreleased songs out on the internet
wait, what???? seriously?
HAI Strada there’s even a playlist with all 200 loool
Just like you have lanas unreleased tracks, i have all of weeknd unreleased music that most haven’t heard.
doobzification the link please?? lmao
I don't have them or a link, just search for Lana del Rey unreleased here or on SoundCloud. I can recommend some gems tho... Like fine china, serene queen, angels forever, never let me go... There is a lot of them!!
Ride will always be my all time favorite Lana song. Got me through a lot of dark times, still does. The music video is an absolute masterpiece.
same. it’s very deep
I wish I could listen to it for the first time again 😭 nothing beats that feeling
the literary, philosophical, and historical references are brilliant! intertextuality at its best!!
I am also a lyrics person, and it makes me so, so happy to see someone who typically doesn’t listen to this kind of music appreciate Lana’s lyrical and musical prowess. She is in a sphere of her own, and she just gets better from here. The genres she delves into after this record vary greatly, but you will never be disappointed in the lyric department when it comes to Lana.
My heart skips a beat on "Don't be afraid of me, don't be ashamed" part 🖤
Bel Air is an underrated masterpiece
born to die didn’t get nominated somehow but paradise got nominated for pop vocal album of the year at the grammys in 2013
because it's better lmao
Please don't say Grammy!! please, don't!!! I'm still dealing with that shit!!
grammy is trash now, we don’t care
I'm still want to kill someone!! and burn everything!!
dnfkt paradise better then born to die?
HOLY SHIT your reaction to Gods & Monsters... YOU GET HER. For a moment I was wondering if your reaction was legit because a lot of people use her name for views. But dude- the appreciation for G&M and giving it a 10/10 puts that theory to rest. The song is just a masterpiece. Utterly underrated too.
EXACTLY
Can’t wait for your reaction on ultraviolence and NFR, 2 masterpieces
simmmmm
gods & monsters is my all-time favorite lana song. i'm so glad it's getting the recognition as a masterpiece that it deserves!!!
Same! I used to cry uncontrollably to it when I was deep in addiction. I’m validated other people recognize its brilliance.
this guy has the best reactions, the analysis is spot on
Killing it with these lana uploads jon!
I've never seen you as hyped as you were after Gods and Monsters. I share your enthusiasm.
your not ready for ultraviolence - the album that reminds me most of abels music
facccctttts
Megan Thompson big facts
When I first heard Gods and Monsters I knew Lana was brilliant. It’s a beautifully complex story with so many layers. This is what perfection is in music.
Same it is the first song of lana I heard
Does anyone else start singing along and then get embarrassed when the music cuts out? 😂
Nooooo, thas mee
me yayo :')
me: you can be my full-
music cuts*
always
Yes
Your not ready for honeymoon and Ultraviolence.
Honeymoon is by far her weakest album anyway
@@Matthew-ij3zm ughg her weakest is LFL.
Don't come for Honeymoon it is a masterpiece in it's own right.
Especially cuz Honeymoon was the first indicator of Lana's maturing.
Matthew honeymoon is far from her weakest. it’s her more unique body of work.
@@Matthew-ij3zm lust for life is by far her weakest
Sycamore ummmm one of her best albums is LFL👁👄👁
Wish Serial Killer had been put on this album so he could hear it! 🙈
When I first heard Gods and Monsters, I had to listen to it again and again. I couldn't get it out of my system. I never skip it when it comes on, I never get tired of it. Gods and Monsters is in my top three favorite songs of all time. That song is ingrained in my soul.
LOL. It is a literal masterpiece. My most listened to song of hers. Of anyone's.
SAME!!!
YESSS Gods and Monsters and Ride are twi songs I can never never skip
I remember first time listening to it. I kept repeating it on my phone. I might have listened to that song 30 or 40 times this day.
My people !! LoL I honestly can't even tell you how many times I listened to this song especially back in like 2014 .. just couldn't stop enjoying it's sound 😂🤗
I once heard someone say “innocent sloths “ instead of “innocence lost” and I haven’t heard the song the same since 😭😂
Loves Off to the Races and Gods and Monsters....the impeccable taste of this man 🖤
y’all ultraviolence is next...how we gonna prepare for this??? 😭
Please listen to the ride monologue it’s art 😭😭😭😭😭
on GOD
On JESUS too
It literally makes me feel like i'm listening to this for the first time when i watch your reactions. Thank you Jon for making me re-live my absolute favorite songs.
Being speechless is the only correct reaction to Lana. Can’t wait for you to continue
Gods & Monsters is my absolute favorite song from this EP. His reaction to it was everything and exactly what I wanted to see!!
Jon, literally I hope you’re prepared for Ultraviolence cause that album will blow your mind awaaaaay!
It's always a pleasure to see a new reactor falling in love with Lana as we all did
he blushing like she's singing to him 😏
Dont miss «young and beautiful»! It’s not on any of her albums, but from the Great gatsby soundtrack. It came out in 2013 after born to die and before ultraviolence. You Will LOVE it!!
Takes someone intelligent to truly recognize the genius of Lana’s music. She is not for the masses.
Wut.
Why doesn't ur comment have more likes? Wait nevermind I know why
You sound so stupid 😭😭
Lmao you sound exactly like a TOOL fan or a J Cole fan
i love lana del rey but you stans are so annoying, like why are u treating her like shes some small alt singer 😭
Keep up with the Lana reactions please!!!
discovered you from born to die, then binged all your videos, so excited for this series 🤍
Yayo is a song she sang before making Born To Die the album, this one is a cover of her original one. you MUST listen to the older version its different and twice as good
have you ever heard of Banks? I feel like you’d enjoy her, her music has such simple depth ✨
I was about to comment on this and say you’d enjoy Banks.. but I already have.
Brace yourself for Ultraviolence. But grab onto your cap and headphones for Honeymoon because she will snatch them away like how she did to her fans' wigs 💀
At 10:29 I immediately subscribed
I'm glad to see you actually recognizing and analyzing her lyrics and the production of her songs, especially Gods and Monsters. It's my favorite from the album. Thank you for posting this for us Lana fans.
ultraviolence next thnks
Mateus Gurgel / Brooklyn Baby makes me melt, that and Florida kilos
Brennan Hibberd this songs makes me feel died but i love this lol
Dude wait till you hear Ultraviolence, you're gonna be SHOOK.
You're not ready for the rest of her albums omg, you'll be shook
I wish I could experience these songs for the first time but also loving being able to sing along the big choruses FUCK YEAH GIVE IT TO ME QUEEN
I’m so in love with early era Lana, and it fills my heart so much to hear other’s giving it the love it has deserved for years. Hearing it and feeling it the way I do, and being able to witness the first time is truly a treat.
him saying “leave me aloneee” at the beginning to Yayo is such a fucking mood
I almost cried watching this! You have TASTE haha. I adore seeing your mind be blown, it reminds me just how powerful music is. When you discussed eclectic styles on your channel, of course my mind instantly went for The 1975... Long ago you reacted to 'People', and you don't have to make a video (especially since I'm probably the only one bringing them up anyway) but I really recommend them. The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey and The 1975 are my TOP artists and I see so many similarities between them. Their artistic genius knows no bounds. Excited for more Lana videos ALSO maybe react to Tropico? It's the visual accompaniment to this EP :D
I was sold when I listened to “Videogames” for the very first time. Then blue jeans , BTD and so on.
i don’t know how many times i’ve watched this particular video. your reactions to lana’s albums are nearly identical to the way i reacted when i first heard them. your fascination and excitement for her songs is enthralling and makes listening to her music all the more better. i love finding people who love the same music as me and have the same love for it
lana’s music is a gift from heaven
this is absolutely my favourite Lana collection I think it represents her style and themes so well. Every song on Paradise is iconic
THANK YOU for reviewing her and letting people experience these for the first time !!
She has so much unreleased material as well, I love converting my favourite reaction channels into lana fans :)
Her songs have meaning, she is an old soul' that knows how to pull all your emotions out even if you cant relate.
Just watched your reaction to BTD literally yesterday!! 💙💙 Was so excited to see this notification and cannot wait for you to go through this journey with each album of Lana!! 💕🦋🌷🎶
When it comes to sound and vibe, Honeymoon is my favorite album of Lana's. In concept and execution though, Ultraviolence, which is next, is a true masterpiece. I literally do not want to wait for your reaction to it, though I must be patient. Next week can't come quick enough.
So happy you're doing the albums in order and extra glad you're doing Paradise!
4:30 & 9:16
was waiting for your reaction and was not disappointed xD
Ultraviolence is gonna blow your mind man. Can't wait for that vid!
I would sell my soul to listen to body electric for the first time again
BANKS! You’ll love her r&b contemporary sound
Ride is and forever will be my favorite song from this album
It’s just so enjoyable watching people react just the way you want them to react to the Music you like.
I love how you react to her songs. Lana is so smart and her lyrics are unbelievable. I’m so glad you can recognize that. I really hope you do the rest of her albums because I love watching your reaction.🖤
Can’t wait to watch your reactions of her whole discography, she’s by far my fav artist!
I just found your videos and I’ve been a fan of Lana’s since Videogames came out. I always get chills when I listen to her music and I get chills from your reactions to her music as well. She taps into something very primal and carnal.
ultraviolence is one of my favourite albums, can't wait to see ur reaction
You mention Florence and the Machine here. Would really love to see you react to some of her stuff as well!
For example, videos for "Big God" and "What Kind of Man" or her album "How Big How Blue How Beautiful".
react to Burning Desire that song is truly amazing and underrated!! also Lolita , Without you and Lucky ones from the Born to Die Deluxe edition ◡̈
i love seeing someone who actually knows productions and song writing well react to her because she’s so unique in those aspect. Also you should watch the ride film if you’re interested in visuals as well. and if you enjoy ride, her short film tropico might be up your alley as well
i have listened to every Lana song and watching his reactions to her music is making me go through that experience of crying to her music LOL. god she is so fucking good.
ULTRAVIOLENCE IS GONNA BLOW YOUR MIND
Gods and monsters is by far my favourite song ever. It’s so deep in each and every sense
I used to listen to it and cry when I was deep in addiction. Only song that’s ever made me legitimately have a crying breakdown.
you should react to the full 9 minute song of ride! it has a spoken word prologue and epilogue that is mind blowing!!
Every Album, EP and Cover that she has every done deserves awards. She never disappoints! Her newest album Norman F*cking Rockwell is pure genius. LDR has been one of my favorite artists since video games.
first been waitin for this!
Exactly lol
years after the album released, I still want to see how people react to Cola's iconic lyrics
Ride and Bel Air is such special songs to me ❤
