    also, all staff need to learn to not let dogs pull them or even walk in front of them. it's such a simple yet crucial thing. i was blown away by this

      I thought the same thing. Not every dog is trained or in a calm state of mind. Why couldn't a staff member take the dog and make sure it's calm beforehand as well? I guess it isn't their responsibility, but it sort of is. It's their job, right? I bet they used this dog as an example, and he taught the whole crew.

      It is amazing the lack of knowledge people have when they go off and get a pitbull or something though. Usually the dog pays for it.

      That's EXACTLY what I thought -- she was SO busy "showing" how much she knew she didn't REALLY listen to Cesar, and then promptly forgot everything. I hate to say it, but I was almost wishing the dog would get kicked out and then have to go back to Wisconsin and get away from the obnoxious owner. Poor dog ... lol.

      Many small terriers are ratters. They're born tough, fierce, and courageous. A schnauzer is a serious breed. Not everyone can handle them. Same with other hunting types like Jack Russells, Fox Terriers, etc.

    • @MsNoPixel
      @MsNoPixel Місяць тому +5

      No. It’s typically not that they think it’s “cute”, usually it’s because they don’t see it as a big issue because it’s a tiny dog that “wouldn’t hurt anyone” in their opinion. People are also very ignorant when it comes to dog behavior & psychology, they don’t realize dogs (& animals in general tbh) are just like people in the sense they need rules, boundaries, limitations, expectations & most certainly need to be reprimanded.

    Querido César no sé a dónde escribirte, pero necesitamos ayuda con algún contacto que conozcas aquí en México que nos puedas recomendar. Mis amigos del alma tienen un perrito joven pero grande que adoptaron, él evidentemente fue abusado, lo amamos mucho tod@s y es muy cariñoso, no es agresivo, y sin embargo ayer atacó a su "mamá" humana en una situación muy específica para que esto pasara, los doctores que la vieron dijeron que tuvo mucho suerte porque la mordió varias veces y como dije es un perrito grande. Todos estamos buscando algún profesional que pueda ayudar al perrito a la familia, y sus papás están dispuestos a todo con un profesional adecuado, a seguir con él si así lo considera o a soltar si también piensa que es un caso delicado, pero no sabemos bien a quién contactar que sepa trabajar con estos casos extremos.
