Surprised at how well that diff works for a stock unit! Really great content mate. You shouldv sweet talked your way into driving the gp parked nexto you. Those are also pretty rapid round a track.

Rota rims..I remember a Renault engineer saying if you buy a rs 250 with 19s on he would rather the 18s.

Watching all your videos to try choose a track car... Something I can use on road sometimes but mostly track. Options are
Clio 172/182/197/200 cup
Megane 250 265 275
What would you choose.. Love the megane and nearly pulled the trigger after watching your videos that clio 200 looked awesome

I think it mainly comes down to a couple of things you need to weigh up...
The Clio's are more raw, you have to work and drive them hard, rev them high to get the most out of them. I think steering feel has the upper edge too!
A megane would be a better daily, they're quicker, easier to drive quick and fill you with more confidence
I can see why people put Megane engines in Clio's (Meglio), they feel good with that extra power and torque to give them the upper hand. Maybe look into them as they crop up every now and then?
Are the Rota Titans 17x9? and any idea of offset? they look awesome!

I replaced my 172 cup for what I thought was the ultimate budget track car - a megane 250 cup. £1400 later, decat and stage 1 RS tuning map (313bhp) pbs pads and pilot sport 4’s and I was so underwhelmed. Blyton, donington, angelsey… very quick car, too capable maybe, but sadly it was just boring, no character or much in the way of involvement, adjustability or engagement. If you want quick lap times these are the cars, if you want to have fun, look elsewhere. I’m now back in my much slower 172 but have a smile on my face and sweaty palms

Just lowered it, put some smaller alloys and PS4’s on it mate. Cambelt booked then getting it in for a map @ EFI 👌🏼
Do you prefer this over your k20 type r turbo ?? Need to get some Dunlop slicks best race tyres you can get hands down. Forget triple 8's and direnza tyres Dunlop tyres every one knows this secret on the track
My EP3 was very raw and wild compared to this. I like the fact you feel connected straight away and e everything feels controllable.... EP3 would just bite you at times 😄

@@GEARED_MrLucasquality🤙 have you done a k20 swap on a clio that must be mental. il watch those aswell great driving thought I'd ask how it felt compared to the honda as that was fully set up for track aswell do you think it would be close with the Mégane or quicker as the honda is definitely lighter but lacks on the chassis. I'm tempted to get a Mégane see what the fuss is all about 😁
@@cryptobond0079 Still getting built up buddy, new episode out on it at 5pm Thursday (today haha). The Civic would definitely be quicker round a track as that's what it was built for really, especially in the straights.
I'd happily buy a Megane though to be fair, such a good capable car! 👌🏻

Really great handling cars with the cup package, but indeed the F4R-T engine does sounds like a farting vacuum cleaner, however the tuning potential is really good on these engines 450 HP on stock internals is possible.
