- Plungeroo First Look - a simple but charming puzzle game where you set up a pinball machine that lets you bounce the ball into the hole. Overall, a bit more pathfinding than pinball, but still satisfying!

2:27 "dog leg" is golf slang for a sharp bend on a hole, IIRC
Mostly a longer straight segment with a short turned segment, resembling a dog's hind leg. A knight's move in chess could be described as dog leg.
its also just a general term for something that has the same rough bends as a dogs leg

Fascinated by the puzzle design here. It feels kinda linear, like, you see the constraints, then you place the pieces that need to be there for that, then all the other pieces have to follow.
I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

the audio didn't play for the video the first time and I thought it was an April fools thing until I saw some of the comments. Had to reload the video to fix it.
I'd love to see more videos on this game but I doubt the series will be successful enough to make it worth the effort

Puzzle games hijacking dopamine systems is crucial to their success. Great game, other puzzle designers have a lot to learn. I think good designers shy away from the eye candy because they are so “above” others they don’t want to do it, but there’s a reason AAA games are fun but mechanically suck. They use incremental randomness and shiny graphics. Imagine a mechanically good game with those same systems. It’s similar to clickbaiting a good video, nothings wrong with it
