Remember: The next time you’re about to leave an event early and you want to sound cool, don’t say, “Let’s blow this popsicle stand.” Instead, say, “Let’s blow this quiescently frozen confection stand.” Like a good, law-abiding citizen.
We Filipinos don't distinguish between popsicles and ice pops.In my childhood, people preferred using the term 'ice pop or ice drop' but 'popsicle' is getting more and more used.
The episode title seemed really dumb, but I saw the Josh® Brand Proper Noun in the description and he always cracks me up so I watched. I must admit, I wasn't disappointed.
in Jamaica, our favorite frozen treat is "bag juice" that's just juice frozen in a bag. can be fruit juice or syrup. Children and adults alike love that shit.
Oh I am so going to go around correcting English teachers about this. Intentionally spelling Popscicle capitalized mid-sentence... Muahahaha thank you for this tool. I, as a tool myself, can really appreciate it.
I love cats. Had this weirdo who was weirdly obsessed with bread, corn, potato gratin, curry sauce, pizza and pear or tutti-frutti popsicles/ice lollies/whatever you call them…she’d yowl/scream and slap at the freezer door every day all summer for a frozen treat until I gave her one on a plate. Cats are so weird but that’s what I love about them!
My favorite frozen treat? Ice cubed harvey wall bangers so I can throw alcoholic drinks at the police :þ they keep banging on my door so I have to turn up my excessively loud music.
I hope you didn't copyright "a Unilever lawyer won't show up with a cease and desist order" because I'm planning to use it right now (in a non-commercial friend-to-friend whatsapp)
+SangoProductions21 :O Lolly is slang for kids. "Faints" In the UK it is the name of anything on a stick that you lick on, also in some areas it is slang for money as well. Language and differing definitions from country to different is quite startling at times. :)
+BrainStuff - HowStuffWorks Josh kinda seems brain dead sometimes. Other times he's one of the best, tying with the bald dude and the chick with the black hair
tch... IP law is stupid. But at least I know now why they refer to "sea salt ice cream" thus in kingdom hearts, despite it obviously being a... quiescently frozen treat... -__-

Such a complicated explanation to such a simple thing.

In my country we say:
sport shoes = champion
Dewar flask = termo
sanitary napkin = siempre libre
mayo = hellmann's
his voice relaxes me
As an ESL, I still don't understand the answer of the question( the title of this video)
So we can simply say " an ice pop"? Or not?
Didn't this episode have a different title initially?
I need an answer
I frequent my neighbors' freezers, too. But they only have tater tots. Where are my sundae cones, Johnson family?!
Thanks! I loved your explanation
please do a video on how/ why we belch!
2:00 Thought there was a fucking bird in my house
Companies need to learn from history that prescriptive grammarians never get very far.
Not good
My favorite frozen treat?
Ice cubed harvey wall bangers so I can throw alcoholic drinks at the police :þ
they keep banging on my door so I have to turn up my excessively loud music.
He needs to wear a solid shirt to stop the moire !
WHY DID I WATCH THIS WHOLE THING?? 😂😂

Headed home covered in blood. Am I the only one who noticed how said that.
"So you just find a random house and go inside [...]" ROFL
I thought it was quite a creative way to get the attention of watchers lmao
And this video was brought to you by Unilever Supply Chain Inc.
here in norway it is just pinne-is.
Intellectual Property Land does not sound fun. Image all the people being corrected for referring to 'legos' instead of LEGO.
Why not call them ice lollies if not affiliated to the popsicle brand?
ecos889 Because then people'd think you froze children.

Language and differing definitions from country to different is quite startling at times. :)
Er no it doesn't
Now, i understood.
Goddammit, I hate Intellectual Property crap like that. I think I'll torrent a movie now.
I love popsicles. The popsicle's taste is delicious. Or I just really wanted to use the term exactly how I'm not supposed to.
FROZEN GRAPES
Reminded me of the ice cream podcast. :)
Funny stuff. Thanks, Josh!
well I'm going to stop but awesome to know
Pampers = diapers.
Seriously, u all just stated the obvious! Thanks for the bit of science tho!
Can I have a few Popsicle®
Improper intellectual property speech should be punishable by death or at least life in prison chain gang hard labor without possibility or parole.
Josh is my favorite host, sorry other hosts.
Deron1733 We understand completely. /Other Hosts
