Giving Trunks a healing ability that he trained to get was so much better than him getting a random power buff from his SSJ Rage form in the anime, they really gotta animate this version someday

it is true that Gowasu made a big mistake in showing the time rings to Zamasu but because we the viewers have the full context of Goku Black. The only fault that can be attributed to Gowasu is of not being more decisive with Zamasu, Gowasu was very soft on him knowing all the times that Zamasu was in favor of annihilation of all mortals. Sooner or later Zamasu was going to learn how to use the rings of time since he was going to be the next supreme kai, Gowasu was only doing his duty as a master to guide him. One doubt that stayed in my mind is what was the God of destruction of the tenth universe (Gowasu and Zamasu's universe) doing while all this was going on, I know Toriyama and Toyotaro didn't have the other designs of the destroyer gods yet, but it could be considered part of his fault too since if Gowasu dies he also dies for not being vigilant. PS: It would have been interesting if the Z-sword would have broken as it happened in the Buu saga, since the old Kai could have awakened the hidden potential in Trunks (as it happened with Ultimate Gohan or Mystic Gohan) although that new power for Trunks would not have helped him against Goku Black, since the mystic state surpasses the ssj3 but at this point the villains have god ki or close to it.
Yeah Gowasu def should've seen how zamasu was and found a new apprentice thats really his only fault. But yeah thats true I feel you theres always lil plot holes here n there that toriyama lets slide lol

I think the best to come out of the manga would be the logic behind why Zamasu wanted to steal Goku's body. In anime it was a paradox of Goku fighting Zamasu, except Goku only fights Zamasu because he's investigating Black.
I think goku black was way more cooler in anime than manga. But the manga storyline makes more sense unlike anime, which was just asspull. Manga's storyline is always better. I hope you react to tournament of power arc in manga as well. It's really short and cuts out the boring stuff and also has good matchups. W reaction

My fav two highlights of the manga version of the goku black arc was ofc goku black using ssj which wasn’t portrayed in the anime as he went straight to rosé and goku attempting the Hakai, the fact that goku possesses destruction energy and can wield ui acc makes him beyond broken Obv the rule with Hakai is it only works if the being is inferior then user and in this case mastered ssjb who was heavily drained was slightly weaker than fused zamasu and with his immortality factor to consider at least bro was half effective in splitting their merger
Without a doubt it’s the best drawn fan manga out there by far it’s way cleaner than the official canon manga too and you’ll see why mercy in due time also a 12 year kid from France acc helps in drawing some of the panels ong they have hella talented ppl working on it as it’s still in progress and not finished yet The whole plot destroys anything from dbs by miles

Both Anime and Manga both be Cooking with different takes on the Goku Black Arc And from what I understand, the original creator of Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama) gives a sort of "ruff draft" for an arc in regards of Story and character designs, and the teams for the Manga and Anime are free to do their own thing following the notes/ground work Toriyama left as a guideline. As evident here where the Manga and Anime had similarities like Rosé and Fused Zamasu in both but the manga included Goku Black having Super Saiyan mean while Anime went straight to Rosé, and both had different takes on Fused Zamasu, with the Anime they stayed fused but because Black didn't have immortality led to the F-d up Corrupted fo with the giant purple arm meanwhile manga had them trying to stay fused after the time limit but just multiply. Even the conclusions were similar but still different, Anime when Trunks split him in half Zamasu gave up physical form to fuse with the universe, and in the manga he does a Majin Buu regeneration when split in half/pieces and forms an army of himself, but both have the same win con of Zeno erasing the timeline reality
They couldn’t get super saiyan goku black in the anime cuz the anime came first one piece wasn’t paying them that good so they brought dragon ball back and rushed it when akira just wanted to chill he didn’t plan for more dragon ball till toei made a deal or sum
The manga and the anime but still had major plot points the same because Akira Toriyama really didn't contribute much to the goku black anime that s why the anime and manga were so different they were going at different paste

In the manga super Saiyan rosé is Goku black's version of ssb, while in the anime it's his version of regular ssj1
