I'm soooo obsessed with this!!! I love how much thought and detail you put into your makeovers, and I LOVE that you added the rest of the Goth lore into The Sims 4! You're an amazing creator and UA-camr and I can't wait to see the rest of your save file!
The sims 4 is meant to be a separate reality in the sims universe which is why they added an age gap that doesn't exist in the other games (honestly such a cheap copout to avoid doing real-world building for the sims 4 imo) I do rly miss Bella's signature red especially her sorta sultry dress but the family does look much more personalized than the OGs.
Very true! I since changed Bella's formal dress from black to red to keep that sultry red look. I did think the OG dress was a bit flashy for every day wear, I would laugh so much when she was dressed for a red carpet event while she was cleaning the toilet 🤣

People will defend huge gaming companies for half-assing stuff, releasing unplayable games and practically exploiting their fans for money as if they are a small indie company trying to make ends meet XD Sims is from a gigantic company that has clearly gotten money hungry and greedy.
I think the age difference actually would be fine if they would keep Mortimer as a scientist. It the sims 2 Bella (who can be found in strangetown) is also a lot younger than Mortimer and people theorize that it’s because he invented something that made her younger or he tried to invent some life elixir but it backfired and made him older instead…..there’s a lot of theories but I think it would make sense if she was younger :)
I've remade her since to look like an improved version of Bella, I'd completely changed her initially and missed the original one, now she's much more like the original but improved! Will show her in a future video.

Your remade Goth family is amazing. I love addition of Fluffy, the hairless cat lol. This was very well thought out, I'm going to have to go watch the Landgraab make-over next.
I love this I've only just recently found my Sims 3 I haven't played with them in a long time of course I couldn't find them. I am really enjoying watching your video's and love the makeovers, plus the tweaks to personalities including likes and dislikes. I like JessicaYT builds and Marmelad builds the science Lab, Hospital etc.., there are other builders I like as well, I always prefer no CC in the builds makes it easier to download.
Idk, I think it’s cool that the sims are adding in more representation with their makeovers, retconning past things has happened all the time. I dont think they need to be pale.
Bella is half hispanic and her skintone is definitely not grey in previous games, it's a warm orange/yellow. Hispanic people aren't grey. I did make her too pale in this version admittedly, but her skintone in the remake was wrong too as the undertones were completely off. It's a step in the right direction for EA but they can't ever seem do actually do these things properly which makes it worse
@@andria8279 I actually do, yes. The Goths never had grey undertones, they had very warm undertones. Which are definitely more common with hispanic mediterranean people, I'm not making anything up

Not gonna sugar coat it, white washing bella is gross. It’s way grosser than EA giving her desaturated yet still dark skintone. If that was the problem you could have brightened the under tone or at least give her a simular skin tone she had in literally every past game. Why would you think thats okay especially when simmers had been upset with her white washing in the sims 4 for years?
Firstly, I had no idea when I made this video that simmers had been upset about this situation for a long time, I joined the sims 4 community last year after only ever playing the sims 3 where she wasn't as tan as her sims 2 version. I've been over this and said that I've remade her since, I've completely changed her to match her sims 2 version better. You probably think I took bella goth in cas and actively lightened her skin tone but I started them from fresh in cas (apart from Alexander) from starter sims, because this was more of a reimagining of them in my game. It wasn't that deep at all in the video and since it's been brought to my attention I've understood and modified them.

I didn't mind the EA refresh of Mortimer Goth & Don Lorhario. Mind you they're the only two I actually ever noticed 😂 yours are a stabd out though❤

I made Mortimer & Brandi a couple in Sims2 since she was a widow with three kids
& Dina didn't really need the money.
