Yes, but I spotted a horrible continuity problem at the end of the video. Bourne was carrying a gun (he picked it up at 4:48 off a police officer) up until the last shot, but in the last jump in this video, the gun instantly disappeared from his hands. He had it up until 9:42 but at 9:44 it was gone.
I remember when the very first Bourne film ['Identity'] was mooted in early 2002. As with the films themselves, the launch was utterly underwhelming, low-key and subdued. All spring, we had been bombarded with high-intensity action-fests such as Mission Impossible, Swordfish, Sum of all Fears and Transporter - but Bourne was something completely different. It was one of the very last films I ever went to watch in a cinema, and I distinctly recall glancing around a half-empty auditorium as the lights dimmed and the baleful opening bars of the Bourne soundtrack played. I remember too, sinking comfortably into my seat a sort of warm glow flowing over me as the screen depicted a high-speed TGV ploughing through snow-covered French countryside as the now hauntingly familiar Bourne theme filled our ears. Stretched out snugly in my seat, I instantly knew that this film represented a sea-change in the [spy] action-thriller genre. Nothing before - or since - has ever been the same, or as good. It set totally new standards not only in terms of filmmaking, but of pacing, continuity, fight choreography, cinematography and the use of music [via a relentlessly strident violin motif] to maintain the unremittingly exciting efforts of Bourne to shake off his pursuers. From Bond to Taken, Mission Impossible to the International - I cannot think of one single [spy] action-thriller that hasn't stolen wholesale from Bourne, much less plagiarised it completely. Bourne introduced us to the jerky jump-cut technique, to the previously unheard of 'Kali' hand-to-hand combat style where an unused magazine suddenly becomes a deadly weapon, of scaling walls by finger pressure points and of developing a lifesaving exit strategy whilst casually sauntering through a train station. Leaving the cinema after watching that first installment in the Bourne series - I felt a great many emotions. Of satisfaction, enjoyment, pleasure and happiness. But the one emotion I felt more than any other was one of gratitude. I had been privileged enough to see this utterly brilliant, yet wholly understated masterclass in taking an age-old formula and turning it completely on its head. Of using a relatively cliched and unbelievable storyline and transforming it into an 'edge-of-the-seat' nail-biter. Today, I am the proud owner of the complete series of Bourne DVDs and from time to time, I will indulge myself by watching them all. I don't have a particular favourite [although 'Identity' and 'Supremacy' are probably the two films I like most in the franchise]. But for me, it is the everlasting nuances of what Bourne did that is most significant. In my humble opinion, and if not already so - the Bourne series deserves to be recognized and acclaimed as the best [spy] action-thrillers ever made.
I could not have worded this any better than you just did. I've always referred to the Bourne series as the greatest film series of all time in my opinion. The soundtrack for sure is the greatest film soundtrack of all time across all the Bourne films especially Supremacy. It's my everyday work music, John Powell's score on this has me throughout the day, from the journey to work, whilst at work and back home from work. I too am a proud owner of the DVD series. Nice to meet someone like you who has met the level of passion I have for this incredible series :)
That chase and the subsequent fight with Bouksani Desh is the best action sequence in the entire Bourne series. Bourne was lucky to win this fight, considering how tired and tensed he might have been after the impact of the bomb explosion and then the hectic chase. Desh was comparatively fresh for a fight.
Sure, good series, but why dont any, and i mean ANY, of these action guys EVER wear eye protection while screaming down the road on motorcycles? Try it sometime, go 30 mph on a bike (much less 50) and tears will be gushing, you cant see anything! Of course its only a movie, no big deal, but they ALL ride like that!
Pitty that the movie was not well constructed: the good guy in the motorcicle was recognized among all the crowd, reached by the police who arrived by car, but the good guy was once between the lady and the bad guy? Too many failures in these films of Jason Bourne series.
BIG FLAW It doesn’t make sense why the assassin blew the car with his remote before Bourne could get there. Why not let him get closer to the car and blow him along and get the job done. The best Daniel could do is get out of his car but the assassin would still have blown him so he should have waited till Bourne gets closer to him. They could do nothing cos Bourne was bracing himself for death by getting closer to the car anyway
One of the best all-time chase scenes in cinematic history.
The 3 movies Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum are movies that one can watch again and again and again with time.
Watching them again 🎉
The greatest film series of all time. Has EVERYTHING you want in it
Agreed

I think they deserve 2 oscars for direction & photography.
This is ultimate. They shouldn't have gone for a sequel.
True
It really pissed me off when they killed Nicky Parsons.
@@gnarlin4964 jason bourne was a cheap remake of supermacy

Bourne is lethal
not one second of dialogue in this epic chase and the ensuing brawl. everyone nailed their part!
Movie with the best soundtracks.
Gotta say, the police patrols are tenacious. Tax payer money well spent.

Money you photo copy.
Induces error of judgement from Bourne in that first scene. Very intelligent kill.
Interesting how a guy continuously walking as slow as a sloth is always just barely behind someone running at full speed.
