You may wish to consider purchasing bicycling insurance specifically directed to cover property damage to your bike. Some auto insurance companies have bicycle insurance. In addition, there are some companies, such as Spoke or Velosurance, that write policies specifically for cyclists. Two ways to get started would be to reach out to your auto insurance agent or to google “bicycle insurance Florida.”
