This video made me want to visit this island and resort! A great tip about transporting the motor bike. The view from the balcony in your room really was amazing! The lounge chairs at the pool were so cute. I like that they have paddleboards to use too!

Yes, I can highly, highly recommend this place! We had a great experience. Naturally the price isn't always this low, but if you can get a discount you will definitely be blown away!

Love it when accommodation has paddle boards, kayaks or bikes or whatever to use. Great job paddle boarding Kendra, really thought it was you that was about to fall in then David did! We really cannot wait to visit Thailand when we get a chance. Low occupancy rates are awesome but wow less than $50 for that place is incredible!
It was the hotel's spa. No special brand. Santhiya really offers a lot of activities. You really don't have to leave the resort at all. And believe me I fell in plenty on that paddle board we just didn't get it on camera.
That infinity and the waterfall pool was incredible 👍 . Loved the island tour ... Nice place to venture out from Phuket .. !! That 2500 baht for a private boat was a bit costly but definitely worth the island experience

Hi, my family will need to do a similar journey - stay in Santhiya first and then move on to Krabi. Can you please share how and where you hired the private boat to return back to Krabi? Are they easy to get on the spot or need to be arranged/booked in advance? Thank you so much for sharing this info - it is near impossible to find solid info about Koh Yao Yai transportation.
Santhiya should be able to arrange one for you. However it’s probably cheaper to go directly to Klong Hia Pier and book directly. You don’t need to make reservations to go private. They will pair you with whoever is available when you go private. They also have shared ferries that you can call to find out the schedule.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! May is just the start of rainy season so it's really hard to say. In 2020, it was still bright and sunny but in 2021 it was already cloudy and rainy. You can see some grey days on this video so that's what it's like. The resort is so nice though that even if you have to stay inside you can enjoy your time. If having perfect weather is important to you though I would not risk it and pick somewhere not about to start rainy season.

@@mckinleyrogers6339 No, it's definitely not all inclusive. Their breakfast is fantastic though and included. We tried to really fill up on breakfast, skip lunch, and enjoy our dinners there. Often they had live music during dinner. Their Thai menu was very reasonable priced. Their westerner food menu was a bit more expensive though.
