What was in it before the LS? I've got a 95 c1500 with a 4.3 v6 and the 5 speed. I've been wanting to LS swap for a long time. Just not real sure what I need to do to get the 5.3 to bolt up to my 5 speed and what to do about motor mounts and wiring everything up.

On my 91 on the throw out bearing the bearing part separated from the plastic slide sleeve and wouldn't let it go forward, it would just jam so you couldn't engage the clutch in all the way to the floor, after I replace the throwout bearing and the sold me the long slide throw out bearing two times and it wouldn't work in my 91
So did i have to replace that line a well that you got from the dealer, or will my factory stuff work? Trying tosee of I only need to get these 3 parts amd I'm good or is it more to it

I like that '97 Dash that's in Bray's truck it has the passenger side airbag.... my 95 and 96 both had the cup holders on top without the tall top airbag Dash..
Man that's very ironic. I just replaced my clutch master and slave cylinders on my 300zx twin turbo last week. Bleeding that hydraulic system was a biatch..

Tell your son if he cleans it use blue Dawn dishwashing liquid that way when he decide to have it painted it won't be any wax buildup on it also he could sand the rust spots and put some primer on it. Have your son check for night schools sometime they have paint and body that be something good to learn and he could paint his own truck there as a project I'm old school maybe the school systems don't do that anymore
See I'm horrible with stick slips seems like when I get behind the sticks if for some reason I just can't see you know speed limit signs and you know once that shift out of first get a demon jumps on my back and says faster faster faster but I had my glh I collected so many tickets it's not funny anytime I got paid I was paying a ticket

what drop kit is on that truck
Its not a kit, someone hacked it together but its basically a 4/6. We are gonna upgrade it one day

SO you ran the 4.8 fly Wheel an 4.8 clutch kit then this bearing to make it work did you have to cut any on the slave cylinder rod
Some GM parts for those trucks last about 15/20 years which is pretty good 👍 beautiful cars and land

What shift boot and retaining ring do u have in your truck
Boot Came with the Core/Hurst shifter. Retaining ring is OEM. Bought it online

you must bleed the slave cylinder before you installed it

NFW1050 is the flywheel that you need, from everything I've read. Thats what's most common
