Nowadays we consider "Vanar" as monkeys. But according to Sanskrit language, Vanar word is mixture of Van= Forest and Nar= Humans. So actually Vanar means "Humans who live in forest". But Hanuman Chalisha was written after approx 7000 years of the real events and, so it's hard to know that they are monkeys or Forest-dwelling humans.

Forest dwellers are called " vanars" They had human body but some structures r similar to monkey life tail and little bit similar face. That's why people call them "markat"( monkey) too, that creat confusion. People thought markat and vanar are similar words but not . Markat = monkey Vanar= forest dwellers. Actually by breaking word vanar we can also get idea.. (Vanar= van+ nar "Van" means forest and "nar" means human.😃😃😃)

Guys actual meaning of Vaanara is Forest Man. And they were considered as human like but with head of Monkey. Similarly the bear was Jambavant, was another human like but with head looks like Bear. That is similar to Ganesh and some other gods. Sugreev and Hanuman like vanaras people used to live in South India, south East Asia & south America (7000 yr old Relics & carvings of their kingdom people & Ram have been found in South America & Iraq). The Ramayan is dated now to around 12100 BC and now considered actual history, based on celestial observations written in Ramayan. And there used to be Vaanar like people at that time, in addition to animals like monkeys, gorillas, bears, elephants as well simultaneously. In India historically there has been some political censorship in the story during Mughal & British period. So the narrative was changed to like a one shy man with the vanaras represented as few Monkeys. But they were not. All these were almost human & scientists now agree there have been more than one flavor of humans in recent past. But if you look at narrative outside India esp in South East Asia and south China. There narrative is that he was a great warrior & the vanaras were also kingdom of huge army almost 1 million vanaras army which searched for Sita during Ramayan period. They did their search all the way from Russia to South America and Antarctica. Of course it was Hanuman who went south from coast of India & found sita in Lanka.. which is modern day Sri lanka. Krishna & Mahabharata happened around 5561 BC, the evidence of Dwarka have been found in Arabian Sea. And evidence of nuclear war in Mohenjodaro & North western india have been found dating to same period

The burnout and stress that happened to Sabine during the MAHABHARAT was due to trying to deliver on what we told our subscribers at the beginning.... Not the members. The full length watch alongs don't take much work at all. It was the editing for the public and dealing with the copyright blocks that was the problem. And the reason why we are going to avoid that now. Like you say, we are watching it for us. In Sanskrit, Ban = jungle & Nar = human Which means, Ban +Nar = Banar = humans who lived in jungle = Tribals who looks a bit different from so called humans.

In Sanskrit language ( ancient language of India) monkeys are called "markat" or "markatah".
Forest dwellers are called " vanars"
They had human body but some structures r similar to monkey life tail and little bit similar face. That's why people call them "markat"( monkey) too, that creat confusion. People thought markat and vanar are similar words but not .
Markat = monkey
Vanar= forest dwellers.
Actually by breaking word vanar we can also get idea..
(Vanar= van+ nar

Guys actual meaning of Vaanara is Forest Man. And they were considered as human like but with head of Monkey. Similarly the bear was Jambavant, was another human like but with head looks like Bear. That is similar to Ganesh and some other gods. Sugreev and Hanuman like vanaras people used to live in South India, south East Asia & south America (7000 yr old Relics & carvings of their kingdom people & Ram have been found in South America & Iraq). The Ramayan is dated now to around 12100 BC and now considered actual history, based on celestial observations written in Ramayan. And there used to be Vaanar like people at that time, in addition to animals like monkeys, gorillas, bears, elephants as well simultaneously.
In India historically there has been some political censorship in the story during Mughal & British period. So the narrative was changed to like a one shy man with the vanaras represented as few Monkeys. But they were not. All these were almost human & scientists now agree there have been more than one flavor of humans in recent past. But if you look at narrative outside India esp in South East Asia and south China. There narrative is that he was a great warrior & the vanaras were also kingdom of huge army almost 1 million vanaras army which searched for Sita during Ramayan period. They did their search all the way from Russia to South America and Antarctica. Of course it was Hanuman who went south from coast of India & found sita in Lanka.. which is modern day Sri lanka. Krishna & Mahabharata happened around 5561 BC, the evidence of Dwarka have been found in Arabian Sea. And evidence of nuclear war in Mohenjodaro & North western india have been found dating to same period

The burnout and stress that happened to Sabine during the MAHABHARAT was due to trying to deliver on what we told our subscribers at the beginning.... Not the members. The Bear Character is Jambavanta Ji. He emerges out of the mouth of Brahma when the creator deity yawns. Jambavan was present at the Churning of the Ocean, and is supposed to have circled Vamana 21 times in a single leap, when he was acquiring the three worlds from Mahabali. ☺
vanar means people who lives in forests but in different versions of Ramayan people given different versions and meaning of the story in which he was called a monkey its more lesson based not on factual level❤
The Bear character is Jamvant ji, a minister of King Sugreev and one of the 7 immortals.
