just like to adress the fact that there is no salmonella bacteria in the raw egg itself, its a common misconception. the bacteria can't be inside the egg because the chick would die before birth. the bacteria is inside the chicken so at the outside of the egg. its on the shell. it is however possible to get salmonella poisoning by eating raw eggs, if the egg yolk touches the shell.
