Me too! I held off on getting Reforger for so long because ARMA 3 just had so much more to work with. Even though it still hasn't totally caught up, I'm glad Reforger is in this current state!
The mods are starting to look awesome. Reforger itself still feels like it's really lacking for something like Arma 3's Eden editor but clearly people are getting by pretty well even without that.
@aviatorengineer3491 that's so true. My biggest issue with Reforger is the amount of disconnections and timeouts regardless of the server you're playing on. It never felt that bad in 3 from what I can remember. I still hop onto 3 from time to time, but when Reforger actually works it just feels so crisp
@@Senyrar yea, modding is somewhat easier in this game. I am glad bohemia has recognized modding community more for reforger. Already ton of cool mods, I cant wait to see how arma 4 looks after 5 years of its release.
Gotta be one of the best game communities I’ve ever seen. There’s always cool ass mods being done to make the arma series that much crazier. And then we can get good content as well. Win win. Good vid man

This looks great ,how easy this server to get into to? Last time I tried to join one of there communities you had to write a long ass essay on why your good at larping. Would love to get into this tho.
Luckily, there are no essays or long answers necessary! When you go through the application process in Discord, it's mostly just going to ask you simple questions that can be answered in 5 words or less. They just want to make sure you are able to follow the rules of the server more than if you're good at RPing or not :) The most time-consuming aspect of the process is waiting for a human to review it to allow you in (mine took 3 days, but my friend's took about 45 minutes).
Tbh ofps needs to make a cti mod already. Also why is sht as simple as setting a way point not in arma reforger. I love this game but at the same time when I play it I start getting so angry cause of stuff like that.
Your comment just reminded me of how often I'd throw a little waypoint on the map in ARMA 3 and I just realised I haven't seen that feature in Reforger!

I been trying to learn how to mod things, it's still hard as AF but maybe not as much so lol

Yes, Reforger is cross-platform, so Xbox and PC have the same servers.
