Sailor Moon is a shojo anime about Usagi Tsukino, a 14 year old teenager who becomes a super hero and fights enemies keen on wreaking havoc on the world. The anime and manga is copyright Naoko Takeuchi and Toei Animation. The manga comics were originally serialized in 1991, and the anime in 1992. Now at it's 30th anniversary, this media franchise is aimed at adult women who watched Sailor Moon in the 90's. My channel is directed and targeted towards women from ages 18-44 who were, and still are, fans of Sailor Moon. 0% of my audience includes persons under the age of 18. Videos include merchandise reviews of adult clothing lines, pricey and fragile collectibles, jewelry, and women's accessories.

I really love all of your Sailor Moon Vintage dolls and Cosmos / 90s anime goods, Sailor Snubs!!! I'm planning on going to Japan with my bestie in 2025 soon, so I'm really excited to visit the Sailor Moon stores to collect all of my favorites including ones I need to get!!! I haven't got the Sailor Moon games yet, but I would love to play the OG games especially Another Story and I really want the dolls as I love collecting SM dolls as a child same for the playing cards!!!

While the 2000's Sailor Moon dolls are really pretty and cute, just beware when collecting them-- it's well known that the Jupiter and Mars dolls have a pretty significant defect. Their hair disintegrates! I have the Jupiter doll (she's one of my favorite pieces in my collection), and a lot of her hair is gone (and it will be 100% gone if I touch it). I'm eventually going to figure out how to re-root hair for dolls, because I don't want to get rid of her. Haha.

When I was in Japan I had such a hard time finding Sailor moon items in the Mandarakes and at the reuse stores in general (even moreso for older Sailor moon items) are there locations you recommend??

Nakano Broadway is the best in my opinion for used goods! If you go in any of the stores, just ask for "sera moon" and they can point you to anything they have

for some reason Japanese people take so good care of there stuff.... I wish americans were like this, It sucks buying a item that said it was lightly used and it has like a lot of marks on it

Here's a better description of the differences. Mine are not cels. Douga are the cleaned up/polished versions of genga sketches. During the animation process genga ( key frame drawings) are made and then in the next step are sent to the douga-men. There the drawings get cleaned up and retraced onto clean white paper with the sketch number in the top right corner.
