I hope the rollcage and gunner seat on the AWE Striker are modular so you can make it look more like the original. And as you said; I’m sure Grid Iron will take care of the missing canon
I'm actually really excited about ALL the new stuff that was revealed... Even the retro figures. The only time those figures upset me are when we get ones like Dr. Mindbender or the Cobra Eel because they're so close to the version that we already got, but these ones are just fine for me. Anyway, thanks for the video and I can't wait to get my grubby hands on theses figures!
Couldn’t agree more, give us the new characters before the repaints come. If I get 2 awe strikers I’ll hook you up with a crankcase….GI Joe should partner with Call Of Duty

We need more Official COBRA FEMALES in the line, such as, Leila, Raven, Zanya, Heartwrencher, Pale Peony, Biggles Jones, Crimson Asp, Munitia, Stilhetto. We have enough official females on the Joe side for now. The Cobra females only have 3 characters, which are Vypra, Zaranna and Baroness.
Hey mate, agree with most of what you said. For me personally I think this years releases are the worst I have seen since the start of the line. I think this year I will just be buying more Action Force figures. What I would like for Hasbro to do for things that the majority of the customer base complain about head sculpt etc is to just put out a new head pack and say do the new Covergirl and Flint heads only, sell it for appropriate price but release full new figures.
I don’t troop build but the Tele-Viper will be less expensive than the trubble bubble for those who do, so there’s that I guess. I usually buy 2 of everything, one to display and one to leave MIB. I don’t do the legacy figures and the divers are basically along those lines so will skip them. I do want the M.A.S.S. Canister though. For those of us of a certain age, the M.A.S.S. Device series took our G.I. Joe fandom and injected it with a mother load of steroids. Like, all the steroids. But if you didn’t see it until you were an adult I can see why you find it pretty meh.
@juniorcecrle5072 yeah that's fair. The cartoon as an adult is kind of hit and miss for me. I used to love the episode where Storm Shadow found Excalibur, but it don't work for me anymore. I do really like the run about the creation of Serpentor though.
I think one thing you need to take into consideration is that the retro card line are all re-releases none of those are new characters. For the most part just re-deco’s and if done right more accurate to the vintage either toy or cartoon. For some people that makes them an easy pass for others they must have.
Really like the alternate heads on the tele viper. Right out of the Cartoon. But it is disappointing there are a lot of repeat characters. Slice and Dice are surprising though we have had a few cobra Ninja packs before so I almost did not recognize them. Great accesories though.
Gridiron studios puts a lot of thought and effort into the accessories that they produce. Hasbro on the other hand is Hit or Miss the a.w.e striker looks like Large Marge horrendous 🫣!!!
That version of Cover Girl is seen in the MASS Device story line, so she's tangential to the other MASS figures.

Bro the retro sub-line is like their most popular seller. It's what most collectors have wanted all along, upscaled ARAH figures.

None of them are interesting to me but that hat and cloak seem great.
I never got the original Covergirl and I won't get this one either lol
