Somehow Ventress returned!
They can fly now.
They fly now
smh
somehow she was placed into a green pool of water on dathomire .. of course she was going to come back..like thrawn says in the ahsoka series death and resurrection is a thing that Jedi, and night sisters, have in common .. something like that might not be the exact words but I'm not about to look it up
@@Pinkielover it’s not even worth the trouble tbf

What about the other members of Bad Batch? Asshunter? Asswrecker…! Lol
Weird how so many people in Star Wars die and don’t stay that way 😂😂🤣
Reminds me of Sam and Dean from Supernatural lmfaoo
You say that like every IP does not have a little bit of that...
Yeah, Shaak Ti forgot to hide the 1up cookie jar. Now Ventress has re-spec’ed to a cat build, somehow Palpatine returned, and Windu’s body is still unaccounted for.

No. Ventress's death in Dark Disciple sucked ass.
@@flamseyhow?
I'm ngl...that was Filoni's writing style since forever now. I actually had high hopes for his projects but they are all just a collection of cameos lol.
Cry more
I love how she was in this new episode. She's emotionally leveled out but still has that hard edge she's known for. You can tell she's grown a lot as a person since Dooku betrayed her.
I think the bigger underlying problem here is Disney said all their forms of media will align with canon after destroying legends. Also they just keep undermining the impact death has on a story
That’s a good thing, Disney sees the bigger picture and is good at tying everything together. I love Disney Star Wars
@@ReySkywalkerfan88 I’m glad u enjoy it
@@ReySkywalkerfan88 This retcon, on top of countless others, shows that they have not been good at tying things together though. They're just as disjointed and all over the place as the old legends EU was.
You can’t retcon the book if it hints at Asajjs survival at the end of the book.
I'm totally down for this cause Quinlan is confirmed alive in the Kenobi show, so it opens up the possibility of us seeing an emotional reunion. Disney aren't smart enough to make this work, but I can only hope.
I love Ventress but I’m losing track of the number of force users still alive after the so-called “purge”!
Purge only went after Jedi. A majority were killed, but there was over 10k Jedi... Ventress is not a Jedi...
@@Rummysonshe was Jedi to start tho wtf do you mean she was never a Jedi?
@@RummysonShe did die though, but of course that never sticks in SW anymore. It’s pretty much a consequence free environment.
Even 100 survivors out of ten thousand Jedi is still an indication of a succesful purge.
@skippydinglechalk3525 She's a nightsister from Dathomir...
I LOVE Ventress! I will continue to be amazed by her character up until the day Disney inevitably ruins her.
Damn, if you have that mindset of course you will get dissapointed lol
Disney doesn’t ruin characters, they give them character developement. Luke lost his way so Rey could help him find it again.
@@ReySkywalkerfan88Yes! Just like Joe Biden beat Trump so Trump can come back better than EVER next year! Ok but seriously GET HELP if you aren’t trolling with that comment….
@@GetOffGenji I’m not trolling. Rey saved Luke just like Luke saved Vader, it fits perfectly into the story.
They posted an article earlier on Star Wars official site that "how she survived will be explained in future content". Which basically means they have no idea and they'll figure it out later. They just want to try and capitalize on another fan favorite character and don't give a shit about putting any thought to it.
No, it doesn't mean that. Asajj's VA has stated that this episode is only "a taster" of what is to come for Asajj. There was also a rumour a while back that Tales of the Jedi season 2 will expand to focus on Dark Side and Bounty Hunter characters. And this episode seems very much what the Bad Batch Arc in s7 of the Clone Wars was; a back door to see her in more animation going forward. This is not them being lazy, they have a plan. We will most likely see how she survived in Tales of the Jedi, and, depending on how this season ends, the next animated show could be an Omega Asajjj show.
@@wedgeodyssey3275 It's just another key jangle to try to get people to give a shit about more half assed disney sw. They have no heart, it's all business with these people. They hire people based on politics, gender and appearance and not talent. The writing for star wars content has been lazy as fuck and this just seals it. They do not care about the fans at all or even pre established cannon. It is incredibly lazy to bring back a dead character because your writing team is too stupid to come up with new characters that are compelling. Look at the sequels. Rey had promise, Finn had promise just for them to trash it. Look at Mando, starts off interesting and then just plateau'd for that character. Bad Batch...garbage. Ahsoka, completely trash. Kenobi....fucking struggling to chase down a 10 year old. It goes on and on and on with legacy characters and mew characters. They can not seem to write good arcs because they want to just pump content out insteas of actually putting thought into it.
Classic Disney Lucasfilm, a tale as old as 2015...
@@wedgeodyssey3275 omega and Assaj show ? Please no
ngl I'm more afraid they will ruin another character I actually liked
Disney: hold my beer
You're a certified bot if you take anything Disney does as canon. SW has been dead for a long time.
If Disney ruins a character, just accept it as non-canon, thats what I do lol.
Disney ruined Luke Skywalker for me with the sequels, therefore, I act like the sequels don't exist.
Boba Fett was turned into a weak p**** with the Book of Boba Fett, therefore, I don't consider it canon. It's that easy.
They made Sabine randomly a jedi in Ahsoka? Then I completely regard the show as non-canon. Reva got stabbed in her stomache 2 times (By fuking Vader no less) and survived? Yeh, I'm gonna consider the obi-wan show not cannon.
That's just the way you should deal with Disneys trash.
@@theintunity at that point just join us in the legends timeline
Why? She is one of Filoni's characters, and this is Filoni's show...
I will always love Ahsoka Tano no matter what as a female Star Wars character. Though I will agree at the idea that Asaji Ventress is a much more badass lady in her own right throughout the Star Wars universe. I like how unhinged, morally complex and chaotic she is as a character.
They ruined Ashoka with the new show
@@ayeitsjay883 to me they didn't ruin her, they just really did add anything to her, which seems to be what the live action stuff has been doing to characters lately. Just not adding anything meaningful. I do wish we'd see more of the "Snips" side of the character, though -- she's been Zen to the point of somnambulance, and that too me is very un-Ahsoka.
I love both of them, but Rey Skywalker has to be the most compelling female character in Star Wars.
@@ayeitsjay883 she was SO BORING in the show. I can't believe it's the actor's fault either because she's a good actor. People have to try way to hard to rationalize creative decisions with theories and ideas that aren't even in the shows and movies themselves. Show, don't tell, is storytelling 101, and more recent Filoni stuff has seriously been running afoul of this.
This shit really became a Fast and Furious with a SW skin, hasn't it?
These Star Wars Characters are being turned into Hollow Versions of themselves.
Maybe you just don’t like strong female characters. I bet you don’t like Rey Skywalker either.
@@ReySkywalkerfan88you need better hobbies
@ReySkywalkerfan88 I font like her current story. I think ep8 and 9 should be re-connect and they should make a kylo ren series and Rey series to give us more stories and interactions with these characters. I don't dislike Rey (she's my wife) I just dislike what they did for her story.
I'm a fan of Legends and the EU, which I prefer over Disney's canon. Those stories and Episodes I-VI are all that matter to me. But as I said, I'm a fan of the EU, so I'm used to growing up with stories, loving them, and then having the rug ripped out from underneath me, and those stories being retconned and/or discarded like the never mattered.
Great Video! I'm Personally Very Glad She's Back. I personally haven't read Dark Disciple, But I know that She had a Very Meaningful Death and that it meant a lot to a lot of People, But When She Said "I still have a few lives left" In The Episode, It made Me believe that it was Nightsister Magick that Saved Her, Which In My Opinion, Would be a Great Explanation for how She Survived, And to Bring Back Such A Great Character that Everyone Loves. Plus like George Lucas and Dave Filoni have said, Movies and Shows are Always more Important than Books.
I do not think they've retconned the ENTIRETY of the book, just the death of Asajj Ventress. Everything else in that book is still staying "sub-canon" (I'll explain!) for now and remain events for those characters, and they become "official canon" when they are brought into animation or live-action. Dark Disciple is one of my favorite books and I love everything about it. I have ALWAYS said a good story needs to have three core elements: romance, drama, and action. And that book has all three.
I for one am SUPER HAPPY to see Asajj and I am 99% we will see Quinlan Vos again. I am also 85% sure that Asajj and Quinlan will probably get their own spin off animated series after TBB, quite possibly taking Omega as their ward (adoptee). I am ALSO about 65% sure that their story will tie into the formation of the Path --- mentioned now in Obi-wan Kenobi and in the JEDI video game series --- and might even serve as the catalyst for the inevitable debut of a live-action Cal Kestis and Merrin, who now have a ward of their own in Kata Akuna. Both Cameron Monaghan and Tina Ivlev are live-action actors with a tons of credits in TV, film, and even stage acting. You just don't do that without a reason!
In George's mind, Nia's 100% right... nothing in the books or comics have EVER BEEN canon even before the Disney purchase. Everything else is what I call "sub-canon", which is to say it is canon until it's brought into animation or live-action to become official canon and then it may be tweaked a bit but they basically keep it all the same. Everything in Legends/EU is "non-canon", which means basically don't expect it to be brought into canon "as is". Soooo...
Canon = animation or live-action films or TV shows. (And Disney does claim only the JEDI series as official canon.)
Sub-canon = official comics and books.
Non-canon = unofficial comics and books (alternate universes).
I have a theory that Asajj will be Rey Skywalker’s apprentice in the new movie.
I thought I saw something about Dave saying that her return was not going to retcon the book, and that it would be explained.
I feel like we just need to be patient and it will be explained properly how she has returned.
i really think she came back when order 66 happened and Quinlan survived. kind of like the crow. she has unfinished business. something to attend to before she can rest with her sisters.
I mean Voss isnt dead according the Obiwan show so maybe they rekindle
Na Disney just creatively bankrupt 💀
Hopefully Quinlan will be in the new Rey Skywalker movie.
i respect your opinion theory, i agree asajj is a very interesting and in-depth character they should have fleshed out a little more in the shows, games, books, etc. where i disagree is retconning and putting her in after she “died.” i feel like all these characters “dying” then coming back cheapens death for characters in the universe. it makes me feel like no character is going to die going forward. there’s almost no stakes because they can bring them back. i really wish they would just create new compelling characters that would breathe new life into this franchise. also if they choose to kill off a character keep them dead. i used to really love star wars but disney has managed to practically destroy that love i had for that and marvel. i love your videos man! good luck with theory sabers and all future endeavors! i’ll be here cheering you on and checking your new videos and shows. godspeed!
Agree, theres no way to get invested in characters if they can't even die. Used to be the case that we'd have to see a character die on screen to have confirmation that they're dead, now that doesn't even matter. Not only that but feels real disrespectful (like you'd expect anything else from the mouse) to all the characters that came beforehand, who suffered fates that characters today would just walk off. Like if the throne room scene in RotJ happened today, you know for a fact that the electrocution would have no lasting implications on Vader.
For someone like me that doesn't really read the books, I'm all for her being here. If it wasn't for this channel I'd never known she was dead. At the end though she does say I have more lives left so maybe it's a witch thing and she has more than one life in her soul or something. Idk taking a shot in the dark
I'm glad you brought up the Katie Lucas aspect, but I disagree in that retconning it doesn't matter. That ending for Ventress was George's ending for her, even having his daughter write it. Retconning anything George did doesn't sit well for me.
And yes, George says that, but this book is different. It's literally cancelled clone wars episodes he worked on turned into a book because it was cancelled. So this book does count as George's canon.
As for the end of the book, it was not ambiguous
months pass between ventress's death and submersion in the pool (dark disciple chapter 40)
her body is placed in stasis as one would for funeral, not resuccetation
vos returns her to the pool she was reborn in so "her sisters don't have to wait any longer"
ventress is submerged in the sleepers of lake, mist, not her body, rises from the pool with voices of the nightsisters saying sister
vos reaches out to her "one last time"
last paragraph (after the submersion)
"Kenobi's eyes widened. He heard it too, now, the whispers of women's voices. The Force had reclaimed Dathomir's wayward child,
and as Vos reached out in it to send to women he loved a final farewell, he thought he could make out a single word: sister.
Asajj Ventress, at last, had come home."
People can be happy to see her again, (I was in the moment). But it's still a retcon, and a retcon of george's ending for the character at that.
As someone whose fav character next to Anakin is Asajj….. I couldn’t agree more….. I’ve gotten over being pissed about bringing her back from Dark Disciple…… to now wanting ALL WE CAN get from Asajj for years to come
I am always hesitant these days with Star Wars, especially when they start reviving character SO I will say that I am cautiously optimistic about Asajj coming back. You reminded me that she has an amazing story arc and deserves more screen/story time. She is video game worthy.
Hopefully she be in Rey Skywalkers new movie.
With the right writing ,the right director and the right choreography Asajj could be an amazing stand alone movie or show that redeems star wars. Not possible under the current leadership though.
The only movie she needs is the legends story with her and Voss, no way do we need a disney movie that retcons the end of her story and makes it worse like Disney always does.
I really hope they find good writers and storytellers who will tell a well-written, concise, and consistent story for the galaxy far far away that not only honors the fans but even George himself. We just want a good story and not "putting chicks in it and making it gay and lame". In basic, characters can be or look however they are, but focus more on storytelling instead of pandering.
Lucas Film officially stated that this NOT a retcon! They have said multiple times that Dark Disciple is still canon and all will be explained in time.
"Somehow... Ventress Returned."
She never died in cannon ?
@@cartersigcDark Disciple novel.
I personally never read the dark disciple book so I’m ok with her returning. However if they give her a similar ending but switch out the murderer (Vader/Palps) that would be an ending most would be satisfied with I think. 🙂
She died during TCW to Dooku I thought dying to Dooku to save someone she cared about was an amazing end for the character
Yeah I know but we didn’t see it in the TCW show. That is a beautiful ending for her. but they could totally be recreating that death exactly with Vos involved and just swapping the killer out.
I love this guys videos. When I don't understand something I come to this amazing channel!

Darth Zannah is the best to me. Special shout out to Mara Jade though
You’re forgetting Rey Skywalker, she’s going to be so badass in the next movie.
@@ReySkywalkerfan88 please don’t make me laugh like that. It’s not healthy.
From my point of view, since I never read the books and other media outside the shows and movies, she was never dead to begin with.
I like it that they brought her back. She was awesome in Clone Wars.
She’s awesome I’d love to see her be Rey’s apprentice in the new movie
Man i'm so excited to see her back , my all time favorite character. Ventress has so much story is ridiculous, please keep her character going into the new shows and movies! Please and thank you!
idk man, I think Merrin is cooler but they're both badass. Now that Ventress is alive, it'd be kinda cool to see her and Merrin meet
Theory....what is the pattern here? With Disney Star wars.
Ray, palpatine, in some ways Reva, Sabine, even Asoka. Now Asaj. They have all come back from the dead. In some ways other then that. I would say it's a good thing, she was written out good and even in the Bad Batch I thought was the perfect BadAssery Dave has done. In my opinion.
Always a great video
It's not a retcon. When she was laid to rest, her body glowed green. At the end of the episode, she says she still has a few lives left. She was resurrected with nightsister magic.
her being resurrected with no limitations basically means she is immortal now and that's dumb as fuck
@@jamiemonteith2700hard agree
@@jamiemonteith2700who said no limitations? She clearly implied her life was limited…. Are you guys idiots?
@@jamiemonteith2700 If that's the case then I agree, it is pretty dumb
If she was resurrected with Nightsister magic, then she would be a zombie, as we've seen in The Clone Wars with the undead Nightsisters and in Ahsoka with the Stormtroopers.
Great article review Coach!💕🐻
The term is "edge". Asajj Ventress is the edgier flip side to Ahsoka. In many ways their stores purposely paralleled each other.
Both alented female Force users on opposite sides of the Clone Wars.
Both betrayed by their superiors.
Both chose to walk away and seek a new life.
I think it was said somewhere that her appearance in TBB is still in allingment with the Dark Disciple story. Could they have been straight up lying to us? Absolutely. However, I think her line in the episode that she still has some lives left is a nod to the idea that the events of DArk Disciple happened but she somehow came back to life.
Somehow Ventress returned.
I would really hate if they totally retconed DD because it really was a lovely story.
I think Rey is edgier than them both, she fought with Luke Skywalker when she got mad during training.
The scripts were written for the remainder 8 Ventress episodes depicted into Dark Disciple. Christie Golden was also heavily involved in the Novel as well as Katie Lucas
Asajj Ventress is one of my all time favourite characters. I’m glad we get to see more of her badassery.
I'M SO HAPPY! ASSAJJ spinoff confirmed today by Jennifer Corbett.
She's been so despised by Jedi, Sith, everyone.... her story arc towers over all others and will tie into so many other arcs....Baylan, Nightsisters, training Amega....
George himself said that if anything in the tv shows or movies want to retcon stuff from the books, then it is okay because the shows and movies will always supersede any of the other material
Exactly! I don't understand why people don't understand this!
Disney: Retconning a movie with a another movie. Then release a book to explaining the retcon.
Also Disney: Retconning but also keeping it canon (like the chosen one prophesy)
Personally having asaj ventress back is one of the coolest things and smartest things they could ever do. Asaj is top tier. Survived Anakin multiple times (by the skin of her teeth) went through the force the dark side back to the force and now is one of the most independent force users next to revan. you don't get much better than that . and if they keep her love story minus the death part then she was also a very intense and passionate lover. pretty much --->everything
I never read the books so she has always still been alive in my eyes
As great as Maul was in the Clone Wars, it created the problem of bringing any character back from being mortally wounded.
I'm beyond excited and very much looking forward to seeing your long form Asajj Star Wars Story explainer video Theory, your always so fantastic with those! Let's GO!! "STORY TIME!" 🙌😃
I don’t personally care about recon from the book. I just really like seeing how force users like Asajj make their way through the galaxy while the empire is looming above everyone. I really like her as a character so I want to see more of her.
Great video man! I totally agree, Ventress is a super cool character. I’m so glad she’s back. May the FORCE be with you!
I had never heard of 'Dark Disciple' so when I watched her in Clone Wars I was like, 'I can't see where she goes from here!' only to find out she DIES?? So I'm happy to see her.
As someone who is about to read all of the canon books except high republic. I’m kinda sad the books don’t mean a lot anymore. Star wars aftermath should definitely be canon. But anyway we need asajj bc it actually means she might be used in the mando stuff ( even though she should be quite old by then ) which would be cool
When a women writes a STRONG female character you get Asajj.
When you get an Activist writes a STRONG female character you get Rey/Reva TBA (Who knows what Acolyte brings.)

But star wars fans love Ahsoka, Asajj, Shin Hati and Sabine. It's so dumb good female characters exist just write them well!

Ima say this, I believe the book DID in fact happen and they thought she “died” but she actually didn’t. I made this connection during the latest episode of “The Bad Batch” episode 9 of season 3 towards the end. Where Ventress says “ But I’ve got a few lives left.” Idk the connection was so clear to me. But this is what I believe the case for ventress is.
It’s become a “who can we squeeze more money out of this time?” Oh let’s bring back X she’s a favourite !
I feel like it's too soon to make final verdicts on the return of Ventress. I've always felt, that changing characters story, is not harming the well written material that preceeded such decision, especially if the new story is well written. For Ventress it's too soon to tell if the changes will be for good or for bad, but we will see.
What's more, this is not the first case that it has happened. Ashoka went through same process too when was the final season of CW released and till this day I'm not disappointed with the decision to slightly retcon and rewrite her story. The original books is still amazing to read and frankly I couldn't care less if the canon version is slightly different, because the changes followed the similiar path, but also gave meaningful story to the broader audience.
Let's just wait how this one turns out to be and keep hoping for the best.
Keep it up bro! 🙌
Another great video man i appreciate your work see ya in the next one brother😎
We NEED more grey jedi in the sw universe. Characters who are loyal only to themselves and not a path of ideals leave a lot more opportunities for good cinematic storytelling
It's not necessarily a retcon. They said it wouldn't be.
In the comic series Obsession, Asajj is apparently killed, but instead goes into a force healing trance until she can revive. This could be what happened with Dooku's lightning. Obi-Wan and Vos put her in stasis for 4 months and then buried her in her home waters; which are magical and healing... 😉
Exactly, I am still waiting to hear how they plan to explain that she came back.
Video summary:
Had perfect story but see recognizable character so clap clap best thing ever!!
I didn’t want her to die. I’m glad she’s back….
I love your channel keep up the good work
Asajj surviving is totally fine with me. She's one of the few characters I i can see surviving impossible odds. Plus she's just one of the best written female characters in SW. This epsiode got me hyped for more Ventress. She's very "unaligned force user." As she states on the episode, she serves herself. I love Quinlan, and the book, but having Asajj around still is fine with me. Im a writer; they can easily explain away her "death."
I liked the book but on screen takes priority. She should have her end, whatever that is, on screen
I love this character. I enjoyed the back and forth banter between her and Obi Wan in the Clone wars. Very strong and perceptive character
i trust the Bad Batch and its writers personally, Out of all the shows we have right now The boys and omega are holding it down when it comes to writing and proper character development. and Asajj's death was glorious but im all for our first clone jedi being omega and Asajj " the baddest bitch in the galaxy" Ventress be her master especially with the chance of Voss coming back into play which very well might connect to the kenobi show considering he got a shout out there
Asajj who was originally killed by Anakin…came back to life
Palpatine died in explosion…somehow survived
Princess Liea survived space
I know I’m missing more outside of LucasFilm and GL productions. Shaak Ti doesn’t count.
If Disney is gonna do this then at least keep them and not kill them to be revived
I’m happy this is getting retconed and I was hoping this would get Retconed when they started doing that with books. Ventress had a great arc in clone wars and one of my favorite clone wars characters and I’m happy she kept being a bounty hunter cause she was a bounty hunter last time we saw her in clone wars so it works
It’s kinda surprising that a lot of people are surprised considering the amount of times we’ve seen stuff from the comics and novels retconned by the movies and series.
Did anyone else notice in the kast elisode, in some moments the abimation looked abit off? Did anyone else notice like at points it didnt look smooth, it became really noticable and ive never ever once thought that after watching an ep of star wars animation
At least the show was aware of what it had done, i was confused when she said " i have a few livess left".
Didn't George Lucas say that only the movies and shows were canon? I don't mind this all that much.
That’s exactly what he said. These EU purists fanatics need to understand this.
@@JohnFourtyTwo The diference is that the EU wasn't shoved down everyone's throats to consider it canon unlike Disney's bs.
Remember when Disney said that all new canon would be connected. How long did that last. Lol
@@javierlopez9789 That’s because George Lucas only canonized nine items from the EU, everything else is glorified fan fiction.
Now go to any Star Wars fan channel and they’re constantly ramming the EU down everyone’s throat as canon. They don’t understand just because the books, comics, and games were officially licensed, it doesn’t make them canon. George Lucas has said in several interviews the EU isn’t his Star Wars. The EU was simply a means to generate a revenue stream which George Lucas needed to build his empire.

You can't let a book stop Asajj👽
Im fr tired of the constant battle between writers and disney. Why make something canon and then scrap it a year later?
Its like Talon, Asajj, and Zannah are the triangle of most badass
I think that if any character were to comeback besides Darth Maul, its would be Asajj Ventress.
I would love to see an Asajj Ventress series!
I concur with you mate, I am happy to see Asaj Ventress back and I haven't read the book so am not upset as the character pre-dated the book anyway.
last line in the show says it all. "I have a few lives left."
I bet Asaaj Ventress will be in Tales of the Jedi Season 2!
I think she’s going to be Rey Skywalkers apprentice in the new movie.
I know this is a reach but it almost feels like thier tryna connect bad batch to the forced unleashed story line . Think about it this fits the time line . I’m well aware forced unleashed was legends and non cannon but appearntly they pick and choose when to use the novel . Ventress supposedly died saving quinlon vos and in this ep even though they Dident directly say it they referenced it when she talked about escaping death .
This Asajj is going to make a dope action figure! Hot Toys, Mafex, Black Series. In all seriousness I was glad to see Asajj l and I look forward to seeing her arc going forward.
I can see how it pisses off some fans of the books, but it makes sense for Ventress to be in Bad Batch both in the chronological timeline and the themes they're dealing with. I enjoy the way the animated shows allowed characters like Maul, Dooku and Ventress to evolve. For me, this is not like Palpatine returning and undermining an entire trilogy. Star Wars is mythical, and so the birth/rebirth of characters isn't such a stretch. There will always be the question if so many Force sensitive characters undermine the OT, though.
I'm at that frustrated point that I just don't even care what canon is or not, because they'll just change their minds in 5 minutes. I'll continue to love Dark Disciple and also try to enjoy Asajj going forward.
with nothing holding them back who would win
Assajja V.S Ahsoka
She's a Gray Jedi.
Ngl EU Asajj, the Rattataki assassin, was always cooler. She also disappeared after the battle on Boz Pity after she was betrayed by dooku. Hijacking a medical frigate and escaping to the far reaches of the galaxy.
ITS NOT A DAMN RETCON READ THE BOOK
Kenobi and Vos follow the “last wishes” Ventress told him and dump healed (but dead) body prepared in the way she requested in the “lake of life” which starts to glow as they leave
It’s something that was set up and paid off.
Yeah, the ending of the book kind of does hint at something happening with the force on Dathomir that the Jedi couldn't understand so I think the door was intentionally left open on her "death".
If asaj ends up training omega and we see them both later on would be epic!
Was looking forward to this video after that episode. Didn't even know about her death/that book, I just wanted to hear your thoughts. Not a fan of the new hair style though, although she was bald and that looked bad, it was better than this😂
Fat Mace vs Darth Vader on Hawaii in the Final Season will be wild 💀
Asaj is a pretty deep character, she has literally associated with everyone. Ashoka btw is a great character, but I agree, she is pretty plotted out, even her book wasn't that exciting imo.
She was just shocked not cut in half
I am about a third through the Dark Disciple book and will watch this season of Bad Batch when I’m finished. I sure hope Quinlan Vos makes an appearance too!
the book still exists. who cares what people say is canon or not just read it and enjoy and i hope, againt all hope, they do her right in the new stuff
Ventress’ story could go anywhere. It could tie into Thrawn’s story on Dathomir with the Night Mothers. Her connection to Omega could string Boba Fett’s story back to a relevant place in the Mando verse. Lots of places her story could go post Clone Wars.
Just points out Disney scrapping the EU was a bad call. They cannot even hold to their new 'canon' which is overall actually of lower quality than the EU. Oh the irony.
