He is more powerful than Jane because he can project a fog of anesthesia and envelop a crowd. In the Official Guide, the author tells that they were saved by Aro from a bonfire, accused of witchcraft. Alec tried monthly to escape the pain. While Jane glared at people, wanting to cause pain. Hence the powers. I regret that instead of this story, the author decided to focus on an expressionless teenager and a virgin vanpir.

Volturi are necessary evil in this universe.
Sure they abuse their power (mostly Aro that is) and the organization itself is unnatural due to how many of them are brainwashed to be there by Chelsea.
But it was them who stopped the coven wars, immortal children incidents, and large covens trying to act like gods and enslaving humans.
The end result is that they kept peace

She definitely had the most strongest and deadliest vampire innate ability.
In terms of raw power, Alec is way more dangerous.
But in smaller scale fights, Jane is more than enough

@@archerjayy1809 realistically Jane’s power is more useful unless you are going to a large scale battle.
Alec’s power has the largest area coverage in the entire series but it’s slow so his power is mostly only used in big fights.
Meanwhile in in Eclipse, Volturi sent Jane with only 3 additional guards to destroy a newborn army because Jane alone was enough to take out 20 of them.
people tend to stop at pain but she is so powerful because her power is not just pain she can make you feel any emotion. So she could Make you feel happy, or in love as well.
This is why her death was so satisfying. When she couldnt use her powers, she cant fight.
I hated that part where she couldn’t use her power because of Bella but the thing is that Jane spent so much time on developing her power instead of focusing more time on developing her other vampire skills like couldn’t she jus have speed the run the heck outta there to where Aro was

Dominika Domaczaja I unfortunately don’t watch Vampires diaries... but I looked up Hayley... and concluded Jane has the superior advantage due to her really powerful Superpower (Pain Illusion). Which unless Hayley has a mental shield to counteract Janes Power... then Jane would instantly Pain Illusion Hayley and she can’t do anything about it. Making Jane the Winner. (My opinion tho... maybe Hayley has something more powerful that I dont know of)

I think Hayley Jane is physically incapable Hayley was pain inflicted by witches many times and possibly grew more tolerant as these vampires aren't use to that kind of pain infliction so it surprises them and overpowers so Hayley definetly wins.
Well even if the pain doesn't work there is the speed and strength and really tough skin which is nearly bullet proof so Jane wins
@@taylorknight3577 Jane is really incapable of running as we saw nor is skilled in martial arts or even free style fighting, but yes TVD TO vampires are much weaker physically than vampires in twilight but if she concentrates the strength I think Hayley would be able to rip her head off maybe.
