Salamanca is located to the northeast of the historical center of Madrid.
Salamanca lies east of the district of Chamberí, south of Chamartín, and north of Retiro. Salamanca counts approximately 151.000 inhabitants.
Charming Salamanca's majestic 19th-century boulevard is lined with fine restaurants and designer boutiques, especially concentrated on the Golden Mile. Stylish locals frequent Platea Madrid, an upscale food market housed in a former theater building.
The National Archaeological Museum of Athens contains prehistoric remains and art from the Iberian Peninsula, while the Lazarus Galdiano Museum displays the works of Goya and Bosch.

Me ha encantado el vídeo, como me encanta el barrio de Salamanca. 👍
Eso sí, la calle Goya (Velázquez quizá no tanto) está pidiendo a gritos una ampliación de aceras. Es indecente que con el flujo de gente a todas horas tan enorme que soporta y lo comercial que es, todavía tenga esas aceras ridículas.
Sin embargo han modificado las de Ortega y Gasset cuando esa calle no lo necesitaba tanto. Cosas de políticos.
