    So time to put the new suspension from WP on my bikes, iv'e been waiting for this. The EXC 450 got the WP Cone Valve and Supertrax and the 350 got the new WP Cartridge kit with rebuild back suspension setting from WP. Great stuff!
    So happy with this new suspension. So now there is just a bunch of riding to do!

    Great Video! I‘m maybe a little bit late but would really be thankfull if i can get an answer to my question: Do you feel the XTrig triple clamps on the bike? i know on both bikes in the video are different forks so its hard to tell but would you say that you can feel a difference on how the suspension is working with those triple clamps?
    Thank you very much👍🏼

      Thanks mate. Honestly I can’t say that I’m feeling a different behaviour in the bike/suspension because of the triple clamp. But what I know is that it’s very hard to adjust the suspension in the original triple clamp, it squeezes very hard around the fork. And I also have adjusted the offset a few times but I prefer to go with 22 as it is original. And I also got the feeling that it doesn’t bend as easy when I fall as original triple clamp. :)

    Hur står sig Öhlins VS cone Valve? Fördelar o nackdelar med respektive ? Grym video 👍💪

      I used Öhlins before going over to WP and I find WP more race ready and not same issues and need of service as Öhlins. I used WP even before we got this collaboration with WP.

    Thank you for the video, nice info. One question regarding fork length. Cone Valves are 15mm circa longer than Xplor (with or without cartridge). How do you manage that difference? From the video it seems that the distance from top clamp to fork cap is almost the same on both bikes. won't this affect heavily the steering capability?

      Great question. I often go with the fork as “low” as possible in the triple clamp since I want the bike to be stable over rocks and trees. If it’s a really fast track or tough single trail/rut I can lower the front a little bit. But I find it’s still enough length in the cartridge to get the setting I want. Now I mostly tested it in Spain where the terrain is quite forgiving. I will test more in Sweden now and will let you know if I come to any new insights. Thank you for watching!

    Nice to her i ordered my cartridge kit some days ago to my FE 450 and sent my shock today for re valving.. a bit jealous on you here in västerbotten its in between whether.. to much asphalt for the spiked one to much snow for riding trail and to much ice for regular tires ....

    I confirm Your words, it is like day and night, or like summer and winter :-), completely different motorcycle handling. It flows on holes, beautifully absorbs inequalities. You can drive even faster and smoother. My personal opinion is wonderful. I would highly recommend. I fell in love.

    For the price of a new ktm they should at least come with the cartridge kit stock.

    I am purchasing the Pro 6500 cartridge kit for me '21 FE501, but don't see a rear shock kit. Are you just rebuilding with different valve shims? How are you setting up the rear?

      Hi man. My WP dealer set up the rear shock with correct valves and shims. I think the authorised dealers should have the correct setup for you. I’m really happy with the fork after using it a lot in Spain.

    I have my suspension rebuilt but mostly stock. both fork legs are compression and both are rebound. do you think this cartridge kit would be a good investment, or maybe too similar to what i already have?

    • @ENDUROSCHOOLCOM
      @ENDUROSCHOOLCOM  3 роки тому +1

      We have tested many rebuilt variations through the years of riding. But would say the cartridge kit is the best option so far.

    Do I need to do re do the valves on the kit? I just want to know if I can just drop them with my spring rate and I am done? Or still need to send to suspension to get more money in it ?

      Hi! I would say they are good enough to just mount and then go full gas. Even more ready to race than the cone valve.
