Absolutely breath taking. Even as a child i always used to sit for hours watching the artists doing these spray painting universe art when i went on holiday to spain. Used to piss my family off no end. Would happily cover my house in art like this. To me, THIS is art, not a bloody unmade bed.

I just want to thankyou so much for sharing your talent! Your tutorials actually show a person how to accomplish everything, with the added bonus of description.
Im very new to this, fell in love the first time I saw it done. But as many how too's as I've seen, haven't run into any that explain the magizene work, which appears to be one of the most important parts of this...
Thankyou for all the time you take. You are making a huge difference in passing this art along to others with your great teachings! Hands down #1 for this beginner!

Clear coat is the can without color. It isnt water, its just a can of spray paint minus the color and a couple things changed. He uses it to get the paint wet again so he can do the cool designs. You can find the clear coat along with the spray paint. Plus you can use it when your done to protect your painting. I hope this helps.

I watched a tutorial earlier where the dude said to wear a respirator if you're a beginner so the fumes don't hurt you. Should I do that if I'm spray painting outside? Your artwork is AMAZING, by the way.

    • @daboomfex5064
      @daboomfex5064 7 років тому

ollie ideally you should wear a respirator wherever you do it, however if you do it outside it isn't entirely neccassary.
just remember solvent abuse can kill - instantly. if you want to not wear a respirator, its your own funeral.
      hope that helps :)

I notice that when you start, you didn't let the purple and black dry when you put the paper on it. is it because you use enamel? I tried that with non enamel and it only smeared not taking the paint off?

Your use and your skill for the contrast are fantastic. It looks as if your art are what MOST computer artists are doing. The problem I have is there is NO direct lighting source. There's just contrasting lines and highlights any where. 45 years as an artist in watercolor lets me know about lights and darks, shadows and contrast. Light from the left when planets are lighted from the right. Rings are lighted from the top when the planet is lighted from the top front. The mountains are almost lighted from every angle with very HIGH lighting. BUT it still looks great. Kincade was always great for the same type of lighting and was put down for. He still made a lot of money from his romantic lighting and not true lighting. For an overall fantasy painting it looks great.

Hello! What do you spray with to soften the already applied paint so that it can be scratched to a white sheet? For example, when you put your initials in the corner of a painting. This is how the silhouettes of houses, mountains are still scratching ...

i have a problem, i'm using the brand you say but some colors just don't like eachother, i have even waited a half hour between coats but like if i put purple down then try to paint black on top the black just doesn't cover, the purple literally pushes through the black, kinda like water on a treated windshield, how do you stop this?

Hey. My English is not perfect so it might have a few mistakes ;)
I have a question. In some of your videos you use "clear". I mean the can which is not a color. It's just something to make your drawings wet again. You know what I mean?
And I really don't know what it is (is it just water or what is in there?)
    Could you help me please?
    Thank you very much

you sure can't make mountains like that with the crap they use for magazine paper now days, garbage sticks and rips like tissue paper and some of the magazines now are even using a water based ink that comes off and smears into your paint, i started using wax paper more but it doesn't have the same crispness the old magazine paper had. here in california you can't hardly find the old style plastic bags anymore either, the plastic they use for the multi-use bags they have now is so thick that you can't make the crisp texture lines like you could with the old bags.....
