Hi it’s me Blue! Glad you enjoyed this and trust me, it’s been so much fun in San Diego. Me and all my friends have had way to much fun traveling the world to see all our amazing fans
Nice, realistic dinosaur suits ... and the animatronics used in the larger dinos are quite impressive! However, the imagined magic is for the kids. Personally speaking, the 'magic' for me would be to see how these things are created and operated! They are the best, most realistic, robotic dinosaurs I've ever seen!
That looks soooo awesome! My 32 year old daughter is a huge Jurassic Park/World fan. She would Love that!!!! Thank you so much for taking us on your adventure! 😁
Impressive dinosaurs! It's amazing that practical effects that used to be used for movies like this series in the 90's are still being used today in the theme park industry!
That was so cool! As a childhood fan of dinosaurs, I literally cried at the first scene when they see the dinosaurs. It was my childhood dream come to life.
Even though she's my favourite character in the series, that part with the T-Rex was genuinely terrifying!!!! I hope one day I get to see it in person.
OMG! Those animatronics are soo cool! As a fan of Camp Cretaceous, seeing Bumpy made me so excited -- I loved all of the puppets as well, super cute! It makes me hopeful that there will be more Cretaceous rep in the future, seeing Toro, Scorpios Rex or an adult Bumpy would be wonderful. I'm glad you guys got to go to this, I know for a fact kid me would've fangirled super hard if I could've gone. Happy travels!
I love the Jurassic Park/World Movies so seeing exhibit based on the locations and dinosaurs from the movie was great. Loved the Blue one and the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Indominus Rex animatronics were incredible.
Glad you went. I went on Saturday and drove there in my Jurassic World vehicle. ( I hoped that my fellow Jurassic Park Motor Pool members would have more of a showing but I guess we're not showing up as a fleet of vehicles until sometime in mid-January. ) Anyhow, great exhibit inside. Glad you went.
That reminded me of Jurassic Park: The Exhibition years ago when it and I were both in Seattle. I'm glad to see that the magic is still there after all these years!
I agree with Peter. Having a life-sized T-Rex on the loose in the park would be spectacular. I don’t think it’s a matter of “if”. Just “when”. The animatronics are getting more and more lifelike. Just a matter of somebody throwing enough $$$ at it to make it happen.
We really enjoyed this video! San Deigo is a bit of a drive from here for a casual trip down, so we likely won't expericnce JP:The Expedition first-hand. We're grateful for the chance to see it through your eyes and your lens. What a delightful experience!
@@OrdinaryAdventures It looks like so much fun!!! Unrelated: I didn't know that Kitra was an AFI fan. I loved her posts from their recent show! I saw them in Paso Robles with opening acts CITIZEN and Circa Survive for the Blood Album tour in 2017. Another layer of coolness unlocked! Hope you all are having a wonderful week!!! Cheers from the Central Coast!
Love it! I took my family the other week and we LOVED it! We are planning to go back. What an incredible experience! Well worth the price of admission and an incredible entertainment value especially when you consider what you are able to see and experience.
WOW! THIS LOOKS AMAZING! Kitra's face on the indominus rex was a look of shock and can't believe this! I think it's the 1st Time EVER I have seen her stuck for words and amazed at something PLUS i think Peter was a bit Jealous as the indominus rex got a way more massive piece of steak than he ever gets in the parks 🤣😉 (tbh it was pretty badass! And it looks so much better than the universal ride/experience..not that I'm saying that's bad as it isn't! .. I just wish they would incorporate Elements of this exhibition into universal studios to go with the rides and raptor experience they already have .. I know space is limited to do that at the Hollywood site BUT they could do it if they got rid of the studio store down there (or relocated it as OBV its a revenue source) and TBH mummy the ride as that is getting old now (just my opinion!) and they haven't done another film in that franchise for a few yrs so it is technically ripe for a revamp ) But this brings everything up to the next level animatronics and interaction-wise! (they should SO HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS AT UNIVERSAL!) so so glad you both vlogged it as I very much doubt it will ever come to the U.K in that form! thanks, guys for posting this and letting all your fans from outside the U.S.A see this amazing exhibition! 😉😘❤❤ I must admit I liked the original Jurassic park film but wasn't too keen on all the Sequels to the original BUT when they rebooted it with Jurassic world I have seen every single one so far and loved them! (i even have the lego ps4 Jurassic world games and the star wars lego ones! ..mind you I'm a bit of a kid and have never grown out of lego! brings back memories as a kid) ..these days it's so EXPENSIVE to buy lego sets that tie in with a film franchise, etc it's turned into an adult thing now, it's the same with Hornby train sets and Scalextric race tracks here in the U.K ! who would have thought the toys of our youth would now be so expensive to buy now!
Forgot to mention, Universal actually did look into making a ride with that Gyrosphere. It turned out that as of right now it was just a little too difficult to do and for it to do everything they needed to do and hold enough people in it. Universal in Beijing recently opened a new Jurassic ride. It’s absolutely amazing! It originally was supposed to be that particular vehicle but there were several really amazing features like where a dinosaurs looks like it’s chasing you that could not be done if they decided to stay with that type of vehicle.
Just seen this in London and it's exactly the same. Really enjoyed it- we won't be coming to Universal anytime soon so it was a one-off opportunity. My only complaint is that they hurried us through too quickly.
Bless you, bless you, bless you. I had no idea this existed and would have missed it had you not posted this video!! I'm not going to watch your video until after I've gone in person. ; ) Thanks again!
OMG, I did not know about this... except just now... because of you! I'm instantly adding it to my vacation itinerary; thank you sooooo much for sharing / advertising. LOL
@@OrdinaryAdventures The Dallas one I believe was identical to the San Diego exhibition. The Chicago one was fairly different, in terms of the layout. The Indominus didn't have its own section, it was sort of in a larger space with a few herbivores (I believe a stegosaurus or triceratops was there), more like a museum with moving dinosaurs. The T-Rex was similar except you didn't get as close and it interacted with a Jeep. There was no "raptors being held in those muzzles" section. No baby dinosaur puppets/animatronics except the newborn parasaurolophuses in the lab. So, the new layout is better in every way, I think!
Another amazing video keep up the great work you two👍. The animatronics alone are worth go for and my favorite part of exhibition was the T-Rex absolutely amazing. I also meet you two on Sunday and it was truly awesome to meet you two i wish i can put up the picture we took together but i can't but i like to say thank you and i'm excited for your next video.
I went to this exhibit but in London with my friend earlier this Month and I have to say the scale of seeing the dinosaurs was definitely a once in a lifetime experience, I stayed behind the Gyrosphere exhibit just a little bit to grab a photo and ended up walking into the T-Rex Exhibit right as it was smashing the light and it gave me the biggest fright I've had in months.
We went in Denver and it was the same. I was in AWE and it is my favorite Jurassic Park themed "thing" I have EVER been to. I hope they bring some of this (the bigger dinos) to the parks. I love seeing it filmed on your incredible cameras! Thanks guys!
Hey guys, great video once again. Completely off topic of the video but have you seen the news about Royal Caribbean’s Icon Of The Seas? And would this be a future vlog? 👀
