- This is a PARODY concept trailer I made inspired by The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes. I do not own any footage used in this edit. I'm just a fan of Joan and Christina Crawford who wanted to make a fun video please don't hit me with a lawsuit I don't have any money🤸♀️☺️👍

I’m not minimizing Christina’s experience at all, but it was shitty to do it after Joan died. The only two people that know exactly what happened are Christina and Joan, and Christina didn’t allow Joan the dignity of a rebuttal.

We Need more Joan Crawford Content! I know Marilyn Monroe always took the spot light. But before Marilyn, there was a Legendary Joan Crawford.
To be completely honest Marylin back in her day was not as celebrated nor as in the spotlight as she is now. People who even lived back then have said that she was famous but she was not this beyond famous a-list celebrity as she is now after her death. But I agree I Joan Crawford had such an interesting life before and also during her fame, I would love to see a really well put together documentary on her.
Before Marilyn frankly there was a lot of wonderful women. Bette Davis, Joan, Vivian Leigh, and my five personal favorites: Lana Turner 🥵 Heddy Lamar 😍🧠🧮 Veronica Lake 👩🏼 (the reason I wear my hair the way I do) Rita Hayworth 💃🏻(the most beautiful of them all, best dancer, long lean body, alluring) and of course the Queen of them all: Judy Garland 👸🏻. I don’t know why people glommed on to Marilyn the way they did. I understand her appeal but I don’t understand her as this big Icon for the ages who sprang a million wannabes. I think it was the fact she died as young as she did. Elizabeth Taylor was just as fascinating and more beautiful and talented but she didn’t die young. If Marilyn was living in a convalescent home for seniors with her looks gone she wouldn’t be this mythical figure she is. She’d be just another aging actress. Elizabeth wasn’t perfect she was a home wrecker like Marilyn, but she was a survivor. And gave so much of her life to Amfar and AIDS research and that came from her heart. Just A’s Brigitte Bardot has sacrificed her time and almost went to jail for animal rights ❤️ she’s also a survivor who grew older gracefully. Say what you want about Marilyn but Marilyn just cared about Marilyn. There was something so self centered about her. She’s a terrible role model.

I was so sad to read this was a fan made trailer. However, I was equally impressed as it was so well done I started searching for a release date hahahaha. I hope this catches the eye of a production team and plants the seed that will give way for a documentary.

Wow, this was excellently done. I think it's extremely fair to draw a parallel between Marylin and Joan, as figures or symbols. You notice the people that love Joan Crawford, particularly women and gay men, really love her, there's a tenderness there very similar to how people love Marylin. Be Kind Rewind has a few videos about Joan Crawford and I don't think she draws the comparison directly but you can see it.

Everyone has different sides to them and difficulties they face… mental health issues, etc. doesn’t mean the woman is lying, and she has every right to tell her story.

I was suckered into thinking this was a real doc trailer. It is so well done. Poor Joan...and Christina. If even a tenth of what Christina claimed is true, someone should have called DCF.
There was no DCF back then, besides it's still only a misdemeanor in CA if you kill your own child.
Everything Christina revealed was true. There were many witnesses.
It's fascinating how many fans project attributes onto famous people they have never met nor will ever know in real life. They fantasize that just because the person played the role of a hero or heroine in a movie or on TV, or maybe sang a catchy love song, that they are that person in real life. Most A-listers and wannabes crave attention and admiration, that's why they seek the spotlight in the first place. They are often narcissistic and possess many of the negative and harmful behaviors that come along with that personality type, and are not people to be admired at all.
And you, of course, are a model of virtue. Pity the rest of us, who'll never achieve your status as the most perfect of perfect human beings! Oh, but what am I saying? You're BEYOND human. You transcend being human.

I looked on Netflix because I thought it was real. Crawford fans know her story, as it’s documented. But I always look for things about her to get to know her as a human. She was flawed as we all are, but I think deep down she was trying her best and had so much pressure to be perfect. And most of it was from herself. Wish this was real!
