Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning to host talks with the US, the UK and its fellow Arab partners to discuss Gaza's post-war situation. Arab states have hinted at funding Gaza's reconstruction if there is progress made on the two-state solution. United Nations officials estimate that Gaza's post-war reconstruction could cost around $20 billion, which makes Arab participation key. US officials are pushing Saudi Arabia to recognise Israel in exchange for Benjamin Netanyahu accepting a Palestinian state. Can Riyadh leverage its recognition to force Israel into ending the war? Thinking in terms of humanity. Neither Pro-Israel nor Pro-Palestine deserve the land. Because there will be war again. So Israelites who respect Palestinians and Palestinians who respect Israelites deserve the land. Therefore both Israelites and Palestinians deserve the land. So a common government, which favours both Israelites and Palestinians in the land should be established. This way people who are already in the land need not loose their homes or property. And those who lost their lands, people of Gaza must be given back their homes and properties. This way Humanity is preserved.
To establish a common government I suggest a single state solution, as desired by both Hamas and Benjamin Netanyahu. So in the single state of Gaza and Israel an election must be conducted. And the eligible candidates are those whose 'Father is Israelite' and 'Mother is Palestinian' or 'vice-versa'.

UN and ICJ take over Israel and Gaza and make it single state. And make sure both Israelites and Palestinians in the single state doesn't loose their homes, property or site etc... UN govern the single state until proper government is established. The government established must treat both Israelites and Palestinians of Gaza equally.

Saudi Arabia as a mediator? I personally have little hope as I recall the Muslim Brotherhood, Arab Spring, How Iraqs Saddam was handled, Libya Ghaddafi, Oil route all the way to Israel, Saudi security pact with the US etc. And the list goes on. But there is nothing wrong in giving the opportunity to Saudi. Maybe MBS as a mediator can convince both parties of a long-lasting peace treaty.

1- KSA rejected America’s occupation of Iraq despite its hatred for Saddam.
2- KSA is against the Muslim Brotherhood who was a main factor of the Arab Spring, look at the situation in Libya and Syria today. Yes, it was bad with the presence of Assad and Gaddafi, but it has become worse.
3- KSA warned the Lebanese government of the danger of Hezbollah in the 70s, but no one listened. Then it was a mediator in stopping the Lebanese war in 80s in what is known as the Taif Agreement.

Two states is not a solution. That's why Israel opposes it currently. The aggressors surrounding them wouldn't stop just because there is a two-state set up. Iran and Hamas have stated this on record, so Hezbollah would stay on their border along with Syrian proxies next door. Even Russia can operate out of Syria if they got involved. There would also likely be militias operating out of the West Bank. They shouldn't do it unless there is a peace treaty with all parties. Israel is too small and the population is small.
