Hey Handsome is perfect for Dave. I always smile when I see him in your videos. My 13 year old gray and white kitty Lilie is ALWAYS with me in my craft room. She loves to sit on my lap or my desk to beg for my attention. Cats are the best!

I am so sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to your ginger kitties. It is good you are going to document them in your album. Our pets are a big part of our lives and add so much joy. I hope you can find that joy while telling their stories with photos.

This is adorable. Jagger, my fur baby, often naps on the floor beside me while I create (or work). Other times, he stares at me with judgmental eyes until I get him food or play with him. I always have to look before I roll my chair. He IS my buddy, and we both get separation anxiety whenever we are apart. I'm fortunate to work from home so we have lots of time together. Thanks for sharing your beautiful layout all about Dave.

Our furry friends definitely add so much love and humor to our lives too.❤️😊😺 I just wish I still had my Diluted Calico still but she was almost 19 when I got her from a former neighbor then mom and I had to put her down when she wasn’t quite 22 yrs old. She had kidney Disease which I’m familiar with cause I have thet and a dialysis patient for 15 yrs so, I did know what she was going through but however, she did keep her joy and happy kitty personality until the end.🥰❤️😺🙏 I do miss her so very much but I am always happy and love other people’s cats.😊😺❤️ Your kitty is definitely beautiful. Perfect layout showcasing Dave. Your presentation was perfect too. Love the paper and workshop. Yes, my Tuxedo cat Toby is a constant in my craft room. He hasn't jumped up on the table but he lays in the sun and meows for me to come to him. Adopted him at 9yrs turned 14 yesterday!

What a perfect layout for Dave!!! I appreciate how you explained how to color the kitty by showing where the "light" is coming from. You add such nice hints such as this one. I learn so much from your videos. That paper pack is very cool.

I love this layout with Dave. We have a gray tabby (a rescue from North Carolina) named Jazmyn. I've been wanting to do a scrapbook of all the pets I've ever owned. I have pictures of most of them from about the time I was 5-years old! As you know, the only pets I didn't own were my cats. They owned me! Kudos on a great layout!! Diane
You are 100% right about the cats owning you 😂 I love your idea to have a pet album documenting all the way back to your childhood. That is such a great idea!
Great layout. I have a chihuahua that thinks he's a cat. 😂 a hamster that my son brings in to see me from time to time. He eats all the snacks. 😊
Haha, too funny. Did you ever read the Skippy Jon Jones children’s books where the cat thinks he is a Chihuahua? My boys loved those stories.

I also have a tabby, Nacho he’s 2. He was my sons but he had to move and couldn’t take him so he came to me. He’s great company and so funny!! When I scrapbook he lays right on my project, what I do I put a towel in the dryer get nice and warm and he lay on that and watch, lol
I have not tried the towel in the dyer trick, you are a genius! Nacho is the cutest name, I love it.
Such a cute layout! My dogs have always enjoyed following me to my craft room. I didn't have a craft room when I had my cats but I'm sure they would have too. I have photos of my cat, Amigo, sitting or lying in some interesting places too. Once the water bowl was empty & I didn't notice it, so Amigo sat in it until I noticed. It was like he was saying, "Hey, you, aren't you forgetting something?"

I have two dogs, Zeke & Ollie. Zeke is more likely to hang out in my craftroom with me, but if I’m recording videos I usually put them outside. They bark at everyone and everything! 😂 This is an adorable layout! I love all of the techniques!!!
Oh the joys of recording with animals. The neighbor dog loves to come visit causing my dogs to bark. I swear he knows what time I am filming 😂
Oh Erin you made me laugh when you wondered when Dave might cruise through the craft room and that he likes to "help" when you do inking and so forth ... I work from home as a technical writer and have two huge monitors on my desk, in front of which is my scanner, and a cat cat bed. My ginger and white floof, Jerry, "supervises" me when I'm working and crafting. Every now and then he feels like I need a performance review so he walks all over my keyboard, and when I'm crafting he endorses team work and keenly participates. If I'm colouring he swats my pencils or alcohol markers, if I'm gluing he contributes his fur, if I'm stamping, well, more than one layout has been enhanced with his paw prints ;-P But ... I wouldnt have it any other way!

I have a cat Thor who loves stomping over my layouts to get to me. I used to have a box on my desk that was his and he would sit in it to watch me.

Love this layout. My black cat ESPN lays at my feet in front of my heater. My craft room is in our basement so it is a little cold down there.

i am thrilled I have found your videos! You explain everything and I have learned many things! Thanks Erin! Which layout packet with sizes of pictures etc. would you recommend for my first one?
Hi Dawn, I am so glad you are enjoying and learning from the videos. A 12 x 12 layout format seems to be the most popular and my personal favorite. You can add more photos and still have plenty of room for the story and fun decorative elements. There are even kits in this size called Cut Above kits, they are a great way to begin and learn because a lot of the design work is done for you but they are still nice for the seasoned scrapbooker. CTMH also offers workshops that walk you through the assembly of the layouts step by step, it's like following a recipe!
For a 12x12 layout my go to photo sizes are 4x6, 3x4, 4x4, and 3x3 but you can easily add 5x7 or even larger. Let me know if you have any other questions, I am happy to help.

Hello Erin, Michelle here. I got question, when you're a VIP and when you order a big amount of purchase. How long does it take to ship? It says on the website 2 to 10 days, today is the 10th day, and it hasn't arrived yet at 12:42 PM (AZ)
I message Jayma she said whoever is my maker, which is you Erin, hehe you can look up my order that I purchased. It didn't arrive yet, today is the 10th Day, on the website it says 2 to 10 days. I purched a big order.
On the 1st oder I purchased it arrived around the 4th or 5th day.

I’m hesitant to use the Bearly Art glue in my scrapbooks because I don’t see that it is acid-free in any of their info. I can see using it on cards but I’m very careful with my scrapbooks. Do you know of any info on this?
That is a great question. It says safe for scrapbooks on the bottle but one can never be too careful. I don’t tend to use glue directly in contact with my photos. It’s more for embellishments, letters, etc so I feel comfortable with it.
