- The Karuma Hydropower Project, Uganda’s largest power-generating infrastructure, is a milestone in the country’s energy development. With commercial operations starting in June 2024, this project is set to boost Uganda’s energy capacity to 2,200MW, contributing significantly to the country’s GDP. It is amazing to have such visionary leaders who can anticipate the future by analyzing the current energy landscape's dynamics, ensuring that the country is well-prepared to handle any feedback loops that may emerge later.
She's eloquent and speaks as a learned citizen. Nice to hear such explanations and good of a PS. But it's good to break her terms on US Cents to UGX and how the common Ugandans who understands only English can comprehend this vision and mathematics.
Quantity vs. quality? People in major urban centers still have power outages in 2024, yet a lot of power is generated?? I expected the interviewer to dive into this. Where is all this power going. I guess this is what the layman needs to hear.
