It's funny... this is a match in a setting we've been teased about for the ENTIRE TIME CARDFIGHT VANGUARD HAS BEEN AN ANIME!!! Seriously, the original Season 1 teased this up good and yet we never received it!!!
And, to make it more poignant, in this series, it's episode 63. In the original anime, this was the start of Aichi vs Ren for the finals of the National Tournament.
The weight and epicness of a Cardfight like this is far greater the more one thinks about it.

Well to be honest even before the match started we all knew aichi was gonna win .....what would be the meaning of the series if aichi loses......though I personally would much likely have prefered Kai's win .

Kai was stated by takuto (destiny conductor ) that he is a greater obstacle than aichi and Ren. And I'm an Indian.
@@cosmicfire8731 Kai is best in terms of "natural skills", that's why takuto regarded him to have "better skills". But Ren and Aichi has Psyqualia, giving them additional insight, that's why it created a change. And Aichi > Ren for Psyqualia.
That's why Destiny Conductor regards Aichi as the strongest ally/enemy than Kai and Ren.
I love how morikawa is a lot more “better” in this version.
It’s not like he was a bad fighter in the original, he was just a poor deck builder but stuck to what he liked being grade 3’s

This Image and Dimension serie Is based on manga which come sooner that the first Vanguard anime serie.
Meaning they change Morikawa.

Nice episode, shows what Vanguards really about, just have fun and fight with the best of your ability and that miracles can happen. I think it's nice to see that both sides did 6 damage heal in some form of fairness, that kind of luck happens in real cardfights and not seeing 5 fat crits in a single turn.
I'm trying to figure out how Blasterblade nocked 35k attack without any boosts and support aside from the one trigger

Should of called Berserk and full Armored Buster to the opposite sides he called them, then attacked with a Full-Buster 1st then attack with The End stand him then a boosted Berserk then make the final 2 attacks
Or attack with Buster then the End I give Berserk a crit and power effect then keep attacking with the end then finish up with a 28000 Berserk which would take 20k to make 43 to fend of the attack which Aichi didn't have if I recall correctly.

Rewatching and doing the math I had the Aichi damage scenario messed up by one number but with Kai he was only allowed or supposed to retire one unit so I’m not backing down on that someone else prove me wrong

The new guys sounds good when he’s using the somber soft and deep kai voice but when he goes for the aggressive epic boss monster summon his voice sounds too nasally (kinda like a tier 2 villain, right hand of the big bad type of thing). He’s a good va but would have been better suited for a character other than kai.

legionmaniac - Drive Checks add cards to your hand. Makes it harder for the opponent to get attacks through. Gancelot doesn’t need other skills if you get to Drive Check more cards.

legionmaniac - the Extra Drive Check is worth being the only skill for that turn. The extra card can change the game.
Beyond that, you’re right, not much else for them.

Ok I rescind my earlier statement Aichi didn’t cheat but Kai for sure fucking did with the berserk dragon it should only allow one rear guard retire per effect and it’s only upon being placed not whenever you want so why In the fuck did it retire two units
ever wonder how many more times bushiroad is going to milk the franchise i mean the original series started its run back in 2012 not sure if that was just the year i started the dub maybe it was 2011 for sub but the point im getting at is vanguard has been done to death the animation since G went down and looks like crap like they aren't even trying hard enough anymore to give that extra effort at this point its obviously looking more like a marketing move just to sell more cards and attempt to keep people playing the game when it isn't that popular as other card franchises like yugioh or magic the gathering heck even mobile card games like are just as viable source of entertainment i would think they would end cardfight already and give us a brand new card game anime series with its own unique play style something fresh off the cutting board new and innovative just like how cardfight started off way back because now its becoming a tired theme of the same old same old i still love the series i won't deny that but come on bushiroad you gotta give us some new content to immerse ourselves it's like your taking your fan/customer base for granted
