Dear John, thank you very much for your reviews! I bought the Keystation 88 mk3 and I am very happy with it so far. Thank you for your channel and take care!

Great video. I'm in the market for a new midi keyboard after my Behringer UMX25 is starting to fail. You mentioned the M-Audio Oxygen Pro which I'm thinking of getting, so I'm happy about that. I use Cubase Pro, Logic and Sibelius. Most of the time I use Sibelius, so 88 keys are preferred but not essential. Keep posting great content.

Really been enjoying your channel. I thought at first it was 2 guys doing the channel! John and Mike! So all the problems for controller keyboards remain for a serious pianist. We never get weighted keys unless the keyboard is huge and heavy and 88 or 76 notes- rarely maybe 73 keys. I think there would be a market for keyboards with 73 keys and weighted but with all the DAW and VST control features that one might be looking for.
Thanks Mike for all your hard work!!! I use Ableton and I wonder if I can use the Keylab as easily as the launchkey for looping....my only fear really is the keybed but Im not a classical piano player

I’m always amazed at all the little improvements they manage to make on these while not really addressing the main issues! Back in the day I got the first version of the M-Audio Keystation 88 and the only problem I have with it is that it’s a bit clickety clackety, still works fine though. I got this more than 10 years ago and MK3 is still clickety clackety? Oh well, at least they are durable. I assume the pads on the Oxygen are improved too? On my original Axiom the pads were barely useable at all, not to mention that I once twisted my wrist because it’s so ridiculously heavy 🤦♀️ I’m upgrading both my keyboards now and decided not to go with M-Audio again. I’m also definitely done with semi-weighted 88! It’s fine for a 61 as a master keyboard, but I’m definitely going with hammer action on my next 88!

for me the novation mk3 49 with Ableton was a game changer, don't know about m-audio pads quality but on the novation there are just so much pros if you use Ableton in controlling. Who wins between keystation 61 vs 49 mk3 just on keybed feel? Please last question given 61 key version semi weighted I really want your advice before spending my money
I respect your opinion....if it was solely about the keys and “feel” this would be a different video...I rated them on features...software..functionality..etc etc...but not just based on “feel” because that’s subjective...cause if you talk to another person they will say the arturia feels cheap compared to this or that

@john mike Hi John, I want to buy my first keyboard not a pianist per se, confused between keystation 49 mk3 and launchkey 49 mk3, which one should I get considering just the keybed feel, please help
On keys feel alone...I’d probably go with the keystation
Thanks a lot your response really appreciate it ill buy keystation then
Who wins between keystation 61 vs 49 mk3 just on keybed feel? Please last question given 61 key version semi weighted I really want your advice before spending my money

@@Johnmike the Arturia MK2 88
@@musikman337 because like I said at the beginning of the video I only chose keyboards that came out in 2020...the MK2 came out a few years ago
@@Johnmike o ok. My bad. Thought it was released this year. Good review nonetheless!

Really really?
somebody need to give us a "real" joystick . Roland is trippin right now
Man you just can’t put M-Audio above Arturia. It’s like comparing a Ferrari with a VW. Tried both and M- Aufio feels cheap AF.
I respect your opinion....if it was solely about the keys and “feel” this would be a different video...I rated them on features...software..functionality..etc etc...but not just based on “feel” because that’s subjective...cause if you talk to another person they will say the arturia feels cheap compared to this or that
M-audio has poor builds - full stop. Their control knobs and sliders are sloppy, Keybeds are also bad news. Arturia, again sloppy with their builds.
