Y can't you come up to sponsor one such player from village in order to give them the required support. If we start this for one person at least then the Indian sports will go to another level.

Unfortunately, when such initiatives are driven by personalities, they don't sustain. After the initial enthusiasm, the personality loses interest and everything falls apart. Remember, India's first true world champion in Badminton was Prakash Padukone. He also started an academy that did not survive. It is the same with tennis - Anand and Vijay Amritraj did the same, now no one goes there.

But tbh does badminton at international level has that kind of a big sport industry to be in...i mean in terms of prize money and everything and sponsors its soo behind than tennis
Like India is producing so many badminton players but most of them just remian under top 50 so not even qualify for bug tournaments and then even a player reach exceptional level ..maybe he will get some glory but winning tournaments doesnt give you much of money or fame at world level compared to tennis
The only thing one should go for badminn is if they actully passionate about the sport
Usually badminton players are nit rich and PV sindhu onky becme rich due to the fact she became a medal winner at olympics when india used to have no olympic medals whuch will not be the case in future considering indian performances at so many international games ..look at asian games although we didnt win many medals this year in olympics the potential was too much to obviously know from next olymoics ..only a gold medalist would be gonna get celebrated
So i dont know so many people just joining badminton in bandwagon but where they are exactly going
BWF is such a crap organization who failed to popukarise such sport with so much potential also bcs most of hugh profiles like Lin dan and LCW and other are all asian ..they dont connect to world at mass bcs of their language barrier
It would be much better if Indians will also produce great tennis players beacuse that like 10 times bigger than badminton at world level in every scale from prize money to fame sacle in which it is followed by all around the world..look at their tropies and loom at england cup of badminton ...
I do want badminton to become really big but it will take a lot of time also the organisation of BWF sucks ..they failed to channelise sponsors and money into the sport so as to players can get what they deserve in terms kf their hardwork

We thought of joining our relatives kid to her academy as its little near to the house. But since she is talking stupid things and is supported by the anti-national gangs, we decided not to. After all, we dont want our kid to become another JNU asvole.
