    I fully get what you mean by the balancing back to zero, and I used to think about that until someone told me, what we give comes back 3x, which isn't balanced until i realised about the expanding universe so from a volume point of view, the 3x may work (i haven't done the maths on it, yet) regarding balancing out yet full or proper balance will never be reached......just my 2c worth of thinking outside the box, (or sphere lol). The something from nothing, I believe is more of a multi-dimensional aspect. People like Dr Wayne Dyer have stated that when we get the "something" from "nothing" it is already manifested in the spiritual realm. I was studying Pure maths at Uni until I had to give it up, as my life direction changed yet even mathematicians could be thought of as magicians cos of the stuff they come up with, eg. that there are different infinities or different sizes of infinity, and totally mind-fucks (pardon my language) and paradoxes........

    I really appreciate your point of view, as detestable as Crowley was, his contributions to the occult sphere were and still are monumental. Ignoring his importance or existence is denying established history and fact.

    I have this cover copy and a magic in theory and practice to collect in the morning. In all honesty, neither of these books mean anything without your explanation. All things thoth are you.

    Thankyou Joe. In this book Crowley often mentions how the Tarot, particularly it's Astrological symbolism, is related to the Northern Hemisphere seasons. Of course Western Tropical Astrology is based on the seasons and it's only natural that Crowley would relate it to the Northern Hemisphere. I am just wondering how this deck can relate to the Southern Hemisphere where seasons are reversed?

    That's funny because my spiritual awakening came with the tarot cards..I was led to the cards and was confused because I thought tarot was the devil

    I´ve heard in my Hermetic group that kabala comes from hermetisim thought by Thoth... from the Alexandría Library... where Platon studied. I believe it isn´t from a religion,

    • @JoeMonteleone
      @JoeMonteleone  3 місяці тому +1

      Kabbalah comes from Jewish mysticism. Hermeticism comes from a body of work attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. They were synthesized over the past 500 years ish.

    My view on Crowley is yeah, he was pretty yikes of a person. But you know, death of the author and all that. And I think he's at least worth reading about, just as much as any other of the plethora of questionable historical figures.

    My friend, I have to be disliked, this my only way to survive. This is my custom, a behavior that conflicts with how people feel.
    If I was charming and popular I wouldn't be alive. Ok? Take care. ❤️
