I’m 79, pretty fit and spry. I recently had a nuclear heart scan wherein the low resolution CT showed “…extensive 3-vessel coronary calcification as well as calcified plaque in the descending aorta.” Should I seek a preemptive CABG, rather than wait for a chunk of stuff to break loose and create a heart-damaging obstruction that I might not survive? Thanks for any advice.

My partner just had a cardiac catherization. It it's an important part of the scope of treatment and not a step that can be overlooked.

Suppose a person becomes a doctor by giving such a big exam, but some doctors are such that they do not have the manners to talk to their staff, so I want to say that everyone has self-respect. Please respect your employees. Thanks

@Golden Bhakti Bhajan - There are some arrogant MDs, that's true. However, most doctors appreciate the staff and what they do. They are a team, after all. The client benefits when the team works like well-oiled machine.
