Felt incredibly bad for Ryno in the first minute. Don't take him for granted Pete, he's an invaluable piece to the DIS team IMHO, and would not be the same without him.
1-Unfortunately, Chicken Tikka Masala is no longer on the Harambe Market menu & why I no longer eat there. 2-No need for Pete to publicly treat the staff disrespectfully. He does it a lot- especially to Steve & Ryno.
The whole way through the episode Pete gave everyone crap. If you’re that tired that you’re going to make it semi miserable for everyone watching as well as hosting, maybe it’s time for a break
Pete please eat some carbs, hug a kitten and go out dancing. Love the show but you're coming off a bit harsh lately. Sometimes it's uncomfortable to watch. We're talking about Disney, let's keep it somewhat light hearted.
I think Pete needs a binge eating day off that diet he's on. He's got the hangrys. Maybe this dining vlog series isn't the best for him to host while he's on this diet as it brings home what he's missing out on.
Heyyyy - not nice bashing Ryno for a tiny mistake - he is doing a marvelous job all the time ! (I know - it's all just teasing - but it sort of left a "bad taste" at the beginning of my "Dining- Show-Watching-Pleasure ;-)" - Would have been a good idea to have Ryno chime in with his opinion on the subject too - because I think he and Craig are pretty knowledgable in the food section ... Love to the DIS and especially to you Ryno from Germany, Gabi P.S. Why is this video only in 360p ? Prefer to see all your friendly faces in HD ;-)
Thirded! Even though I’m sure Pete would say “it’s all in fun” or “I’m just joking”, it really appears that he gives people crap (or tells people their opinions are wrong) because he can since he’s the boss. Everyone else looks like aren’t really able to comfortably talk smack back at him, again, since he’s the boss. I love the content of these shows, but I enjoy the shows without Pete more since the banter is more egalitarian.
Ryno has only ran controls for one Disneyland show. I have done the rest. The bouncing around is because it’s which is based on sound, so if the personalities make sound then it freaks out. Will you do about as good as we can considering how much everyone talks over each other and starts to speak and then backs off.
I love the Dis Unplugged, but Pete’s attitude is really bringing the show down for me. There’s really no need to be so critical and shoot down other members’ opinions in the way that he does. It’s a shame because he’s so knowledgeable and I enjoy hearing his opinions, but the tension he’s causing is making me cringe ☹️
Read the title for the show and instantly got excited...until Pete attacked. Not a fan, cast a dark shadow over an otherwise light and happy show. The loom of the rudeness ruined this episode for me. Watched for 5 minutes and just couldn't get past it.
Geez this video was hard to watch. I could feel sting from the backhanded comments from here. Pete, eat a snickers. There is being your Jersey snarkey self, and then being straight up rude and demeaning to your staff. Calling out Ryno like that was not cool, and your conscending remarks to Steve about him supposedly advocating obesity did not come across as in jest. But of course we'll be wrong right? Pete, I've always enjoyed your bluntness and to the point truths, but lately you've been taking it too far. Eat some carbs, go get a good night's sleep, and come back when you're ready to treat your staff with a bit more respect.
That was a really good observation about theming food Charles...I never thought about that when in the parks much deeper than just I’m here and this is the pavilion I’m at when in Epcot. Animal Kingdom makes total sense why the food is so good and I think you’re right they can stretch it further.
I think Pete needs a vacation.........OH !........Wait a minute........oh never mind........I need to rethink my comment...... I probably wouldn't still be subscribed, if it weren't for RYNO ! Everybody seems so Dam Cranky anymore, except Ryno who always seems to make the best out of any situation, even when his coworkers are always correcting him.... Cheers RYNO
I hardly ever comment on yall's videos because the content is informative for those of us who only get to go to Disney once a decade, and I usually enjoy the show a lot. However, I've noticed a shift in 2018. Pete has become increasingly harsh towards some of the other cast members. It honestly reminds me of the middle school bullies who would put others opinions, looks, or work down to try and make themselves feel better. I was excited to find this video as I am finally able to start planning for a Disney trip next year, which will be on a strict budget. After the first thirty seconds I knew I wouldn't make it though the whole thing. I scrolled through the comments to see if others noticed (while trying to ignore Pete's completely unnecessary comments in the background), but at three minutes I've decided to add my two cents and go. So Pete- I used to think you were the most knowledgable and helpful man when it came to Disney, but this year I've found myself looking forward more to episodes that Ryno or Craig host, because your unprofessionalism brings down viewer experience greatly. I hope you'll realize this soon so we can all fully enjoy the content without the uncomfortable feeling you've been causing. Thanks- from a long time but now disappointed viewer.
Poor Pete! Get some sleep, my friend! In my humble opinion, Casey's Corner is hands down the best budget friendly quick service at the Magic Kingdom. In EPCOT, that goes to Sunshine Seasons. And rounding out the quick service in Animal Kingdom, don't forget Flame Tree BBQ. In Disney Springs, you can't get more budget friendly than Earl of Sandwich.
Wolfgang Pick express is our all time favorite restaurant at Disney. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was so good we have made it at home twice. Always excited to go there!
Seriously Pete..eat a Snickers! That was NOT cool, funny or enjoyable in any way. It was obvious how embarrassed the others were as well...the first time you cut to Steve, his face was so red! These guys are what have made this channel so great and it will be a real loss if (when?) they move on due to this poor treatment.
Disney is usually a family vacation. The show is not designed for kids. So, it is really awesome that you found Steve to substitute for any 6 year old in food discussions!
It seems like this entire channel has lost site of what it’s purpose is. Not normally one to comment on anything, but when the “boss” decides to exercise his power of abuse in the first minute of a show about Disney food, there may be a clear issue. Time to re-evaluate, Pete, before you have no one left to fuel your vehicle of vanity and projected self loathing.
After reading all of these comments, I can’t wait for the start of the next show with Pete where he berated his audience for having an opinion. We all know it’ll happen. I’ve been bashed and bullied and sexually harassed on the comment sections of your videos, but anytime anyone has something to say about Pete it ends up on the next video with him telling us how we’re wrong.
Nope. Having an opinion is one thing. Treating an employee abusively is another. I get that there is a relationship there. That doesn't matter. We, the viewers, did not need to be party to that. I can't watch the rest of it.
Furthermore, I've always had a great deal of respect for Pete both for employing young people and mentoring them, then turning the reigns over to them. This was probably just a slip, but really... should have been edited out. And an apology to Ryno is due.
Really enjoyed this episode! Goes to show that you can have a good immersive experience with something a little different than hot dogs and chicken nuggets. Would love an episode of having healthy eating without feeling like you're sacrificing fun eating aka vacation eating without taking a vacation from healthy eating. Please.
I still love the show, but yeah the reprimand at the beginning could've been left out. It's not like this was live, so it could have been edited out. I appreciate the realness and I know you're all friends, but I think Pete needs to go off his diet for one day and to take a nap.
There are also ways to hack menus to be a little cheaper. I totally agree with Pecos Bills. And sometimes when im trying to be a bit more budget conscious ill just get a side of rice and a side of beans (I think that comes out to about 5 or 6 dollars) and just load it up with fixins to make kind of a vegetarian rice bowl. I know it wouldnt be a full meal for a lot of people but for me it really works.
Dig into him when he digs into you guys... Have fun and call him out on recommending the secret menu after he tries making a joke about Steve pushing overeating! That secret menu is diabetes on a tray!
Poor Ryno! Pete, you do a wonderful job hosting and I appreciate your humour. The intro was (in my option) a little aggressive to poor little Ryno who is an integral part of the DIS which I am sure you are aware of. We all have a bad day!
Steve is correct. Magic Kingdom doesn't feel the need to win over the crowd because the crowd is always there. When Animal Kingdom opened it needed to make a name for itself and had to earn the crowds. It also needed to be respectful of the foreign cultures it was presenting. And sinse then the right people have been in charge at DAK they've kept that going. Magic Kingdom will always have long lines so they would only improve the food out of the goodness of their hearts. And if you are following Disney over the past 30 years, you know that's not going to happen.
I eat Keto, so on this diet I would have said Pecos Bill, Satu’li, Sunshine Seasons, Cosmic Ray’s (I know y’all hate it, but that half chicken with green beans and a salad for $16 feeds two), and Casey’s (I just do it without a bun).
lebabies I agree about Cosmic Ray’s . The DIS complains about it, but it is hard to mess up rotisserie chicken & green beans-so I have consistently had decent food there & didn’t feel like I had a rock in my stomach like eating pizza, burgers, tenders, and fries
Ok, so I recently found this group, and really, I love what you are telling us. Damn! Love the secret menu in this issue However, I enjoy what I hear from these folks!
Petes like - "I can't have a mickey pretzel so no one can Steve!" FYI Pete... no one's unhealthy because of 1 or 2 pretzels or mickey bars. This was almost good enough for a snickers commercial!
Rebecca Skinner you’ve gotta understand that (at least for Pete and the elders in the staff) it seems like “budget” means anything that isn’t deluxe. Watch the 7in7 resort videos. Pete literally refuses to stay in the value rooms and says so.
I agree, I’ve been doing some researching because my parents are taking my sister to Disney towards the end of the year, and it seems the best bet is a dining plan or going for things that aren’t marketed as meals. Most meals (in the parks) for lunch of dinner at quickservice locations seem to range between 9-15 dollars depending on the food, and there’s some good things that are marketed as snacks but can be a meal for 4-8 dollars (ie: the Cheshire tail for breakfast in MK, the shrimp Mac and cheese offered at different carts in AK)
Dew Drinker6 that’s some really great advice! I’m in the parks often and I do know some tricks but for a lot of people that watch their videos it might’ve been nice for them to actually give reason for the budget-ness of their choices. But thank you for laying out some very nice information!!
I prefer Pete hosting this show. So now I will watch this full episode without skipping over a lot. The show just is not the same without Pete hosting!
Wow. Pete was totally inappropriate with the way he treated Ryno. Methinks Pete needs to start eating a carb or two. He's turning into a total monster.
I want to Disney World and had the Quick Service prepaid plan. It was nice to have Glad I did it. But We didn't use ALL of them. I mean they have you So much food. A starter main and dessert. But when we left. The rescort let me get snacks for the rest we didn't use. Which was Great since we drove from Missouri We now had snacks for the trip home. But what I don't like is that a drink is considered a snack. Other than that I LOVED it.
I got a good laugh to myself when nothing from Hollywood Studios was even mentioned, maybe someday that park will get good quick service... -fingers crossed for Galaxy's Edge- My 2 cents - Flame Tree Barbecue would be very high on my list of budget friendly quick service. 1) It's just a great place with great food. 2) The portions are huge that my wife and I can split a meal and neither one of us is walking away feeling like we didn't get enough. The very shareable meals alone just screams budget friendly. But that might be too much meat for some and might "weigh you down" to use Charles #1 phrase for this episode.
I agree with most of those choices, especially Satu’li Canteen and Peco’s Bill. Both of those are unique food choices for a quick service. I can’t agree with Harambe Market only because our first time there my son got food poisoning from the ribs. We chalked it up to just a bad experience, but we can’t bring ourselves to go back and try it again.
I think people are overreacting a bit. Pete kind of snapped a little but I think they all knew he was sort of kidding around. Right after it happened Steve was introduced and it looked like he'd been laughing.
I think this backlash is coming from a buildup of previous videos where he harasses his staff like this and it finally reached a breaking point for most viewers here within the first 30 seconds of the video. People have finally had enough of it.
# Things that piss me off.... when Pete is rude to everyone.... As a boss shouldn't you be more professional and wait until after the show and talk to someone if there is a problem? Maybe if Pete is so perfect at the controls he should take it over and put Ryno as host!!! So apparently Ryno can't make a mistake after being there two years.... how long has Pete been on the show and gets to act like a jerk just because he's tired???? Must be nice to be the boss.
Fav QS meals for my Family: Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Pinnochios at MK. Never done QS at DHS or AK. We wanna try Yak and Yeti, but hear Mixed Reviews. Don't Mind Food Courts especially POP Century. All star Sports is decent too. Wanna try AOA eventually
These dining shows have given me some great tips. We are trying to stick to QS lunches in parks so we can cut down on eating time, to give us more park time (with the exception of yak & yeti), save $$$ for dinners to be able to do signature dining every night. I have shaped our vaca around multiple reviews from you guys and other sources. Thanks for the info. Keeping Harambe Market and Peco Bills in the plan!
Craig, hubby and I are coming down in October for Food and Wine. We plan to spend the afternoon at Disney Springs either arrival or the day we leave. Wanted to do a good quick service for lunch. It seems like we always do table service, we planned to do Polite Pig since we haven't been but there are so many great options! What qs would you suggest for lunch?
Pete is rude and unprofessional. It made me very uncomfortable when he snapped at Ryno! I am close to skipping all the videos that have Pete in them because he is such a diva. I understand that some of his ribbing in other videos is supposed to be funny, but it just seems like he picks on Ryno more than anybody else. Over it!
A few thoughts on this episode: I was not an instant fan of this channel. When I tuned in several years ago I was hesitant to watch because I felt that the tone was negative and overly critical of the place that I love so dearly. I eventually came to the conclusion that it is healthy to love something and still make suggestions for positive improvement. While WDW is a happy and magical place, it is still useful to discuss how things could be better. In that spirit, I want to suggest that you aim for a more positive approach in your internal company communication. It can be quite challenging in a small and close-knit team to communicate in a formal and professional manner, but sometimes it is necessary. I hope that you will receive this feedback in the manner in which it was intended, positive, and from a place of genuine care. I feel that a public apology would be in order in this case. Much love to all.
They claimed budget friendly I don't think so they picked more expensive stuff so it seems ppl on budget aren't going to go to kind of qs kind of sit down it cost more.
Hello from Brazil! I'm Vanessa Gouveia and I Love your youtube channel!! I'm a Disney lover like you! And I've been learning a lot with you about this, guys! (Even about my listening - the English language). I'd like ask you something. I'll appreciate if you write the name of the restaurants and places mencioned during the video. It'll be so much easier to search them on My Disney Experience. It's only a humble suggestion. Congratulations about the Channel e thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I love Ryno. He's my favorite. Pete needs to eat a bagel.
Felt incredibly bad for Ryno in the first minute. Don't take him for granted Pete, he's an invaluable piece to the DIS team IMHO, and would not be the same without him.
Wow! Pete went from zero to prick in under 60 seconds. A new record.
Pat Frank He states right at the top of the show he's crabby and tired. Wish he would've done everyone a favor and taken a nap instead 😑
Pete’s a bully. Notice he never picks on Charles but constantly gives Ryno and Steve a hard time?
Pete it is said that the most critical people are also most critical of themselves. That wasn't pretty to watch what you did to Ryno x
Don’t yell at our Ryno!
Steve seriously has the most infectious smile.
Niki Jahoda He does! He seems like a really sweet guy 😊
I agree - it's a really really sweet super nice person kind of smile.
1-Unfortunately, Chicken Tikka Masala is no longer on the Harambe Market menu & why I no longer eat there.
2-No need for Pete to publicly treat the staff disrespectfully. He does it a lot- especially to Steve & Ryno.
Chill Pete. Be nice to Ryno.
The whole way through the episode Pete gave everyone crap. If you’re that tired that you’re going to make it semi miserable for everyone watching as well as hosting, maybe it’s time for a break
I was waiting on Bill O'Reilly to start yelling "We'll do it live! F it I'll write it myself and We'll do it live!!!"
David Thacker I was thinking more of a Larry O'Donnell meltdown
Pete please eat some carbs, hug a kitten and go out dancing. Love the show but you're coming off a bit harsh lately. Sometimes it's uncomfortable to watch. We're talking about Disney, let's keep it somewhat light hearted.
I think Pete needs a binge eating day off that diet he's on. He's got the hangrys. Maybe this dining vlog series isn't the best for him to host while he's on this diet as it brings home what he's missing out on.
I think I just saw an example of male menopause from Pete 😂
Chill out Pete. I wouldn't have really noticed unless you said anything . . .
Heyyyy - not nice bashing Ryno for a tiny mistake - he is doing a marvelous job all the time ! (I know - it's all just teasing - but it sort of left a "bad taste" at the beginning of my "Dining- Show-Watching-Pleasure ;-)" - Would have been a good idea to have Ryno
chime in with his opinion on the subject too - because I think he and Craig are pretty knowledgable in the food section ... Love to the DIS and especially to you Ryno from Germany, Gabi P.S. Why is this video only in 360p ? Prefer to see all your friendly faces in HD ;-)
Gabriele Heß -- seconded!
Pete's always kind of a hard ass. I think if you want to work here, you have to be okay with being the butt of the joke every once in a while.
Have you seen some of Disneyland episodes? Bouncing around, cutting to people not talking, call him out about PREVIOUS episodes here
Ryno has only ran controls for one Disneyland show.
Catherine R I feel the same. Rude is rude. It doesn't matter if you are the boss or not.
Sue Goodwin It’s worse if you’re the boss. The boss should be the adult in the room, not the bully.
Agree with all these comments. I like when Pete isn't there.
Read the title for the show and instantly got excited...until Pete attacked. Not a fan, cast a dark shadow over an otherwise light and happy show. The loom of the rudeness ruined this episode for me. Watched for 5 minutes and just couldn't get past it.

Pete, I've always enjoyed your bluntness and to the point truths, but lately you've been taking it too far. Eat some carbs, go get a good night's sleep, and come back when you're ready to treat your staff with a bit more respect.
Wow. Once I heard Pete publicly shame Ryno, I shut the video off.
#Petesgonnaloseitoneday
That was a really good observation about theming food Charles...I never thought about that when in the parks much deeper than just I’m here and this is the pavilion I’m at when in Epcot. Animal Kingdom makes total sense why the food is so good and I think you’re right they can stretch it further.
Charles Porter Absolutely! Charles is a real asset to the crew. I like his take on things!
Cheers RYNO
Ferg I like Ryno, Steve, Charles and Craig...basically everyone but Pete.
Ryno never cranky...bwahaha
Pete: the diabetes on a tray is the cheeseburger on a cinammon roll... Just sayin'
I hardly ever comment on yall's videos because the content is informative for those of us who only get to go to Disney once a decade, and I usually enjoy the show a lot. So Pete, you think Ryno might do what he does on purpose juuusst to get you goin? Hmmm.
Fussing at Ryno. Great way to alienate listeners.
Oh my, Pete had a hissy fit at the beginning......Coffee anyone....Hangry table for one!! LOLOLOLOL!!
Poor Pete! Get some sleep, my friend!

And rounding out the quick service in Animal Kingdom, don't forget Flame Tree BBQ. In Disney Springs, you can't get more budget friendly than Earl of Sandwich.
Flame Tree BBQ is amazing at animal kingdom
We share the combo platter and love it!
So good
So Charles makes the same point as Steve, but Steve gets belittled about pushing people towards obesity/diabetes?
“Ethyl Merman on the switch...” LOL LOL
Wolfgang Pick express is our all time favorite restaurant at Disney. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was so good we have made it at home twice. Always excited to go there!
Pete take a chill pill. You have a great crew. Leave your personal problems at the door.
Love Ryno and love Steve! Lay off em. Poor Steve. #amazingexpirience

I think Sunshine Seasons should be on this list. Great food with plenty of choices.
Love Sunshine Seasons 😊
I agree. I feel like Sunshine Seasons is at least worth an honorable mention here.

He’s their boss. Puts them in a terrible position.
they are all still really friendly/familiar with each other since they all spend so much time together at events, in the parks, on trips, etc
Poor Ryno! Pete, you do a wonderful job hosting and I appreciate your humour. The intro was (in my option) a little aggressive to poor little Ryno who is an integral part of the DIS which I am sure you are aware of. We all have a bad day!

Pecos Bills is my favorite at Magic Kingdom. I got the tacos there...that was so much food! Plus the toppings bar.
Team Ryno.
Ok, so I recently found this group, and really, I love what you are telling us.
Damn! Love the secret menu in this issue
However, I enjoy what I hear from these folks!

Can you post the prices? Since it’s a “budget” video
Rebecca Skinner you’ve gotta understand that (at least for Pete and the elders in the staff) it seems like “budget” means anything that isn’t deluxe. Watch the 7in7 resort videos. Pete literally refuses to stay in the value rooms and says so.
Dew Drinker6 you’re definitely not wrong about that. It just seems funny that it’s a price centered video with no prices

How can you have a show on doing QS on a budget and not mention the Earl???
I prefer Pete hosting this show. So now I will watch this full episode without skipping over a lot. The show just is not the same without Pete hosting!
Pete & Steve are the heart of the podcast.
Congrats on 100K!!
For the love of God....just eat the corn dog (you know you secretly love it) and shut up already!
Considering he spends so much time in the happiest place on Earth, he is a real miserable old goat!!!
Jayne Green that's Disneyland. He spends so much time in the most magical place
Don't they have Wolfgang Puck Express restaurants in airports? That just doesn't feel Disney enough to me.
I love Grumpy Pete! Somebody refill his coffee. (Hang in there, Ryno; love you, too.)
Sorry Pete, had to stop watching the moment you attacked Rhino. That all could have been cut and you could have just tried again....
Got to admit, I like everyone at the DIS, but Pete slays me......Ethel Merman hehehe.....
Wow. Pete was totally inappropriate with the way he treated Ryno. Methinks Pete needs to start eating a carb or two. He's turning into a total monster.
Love watching you guys. You all do a great job.
OMG Pete is such a Diva. I love these moments lol
Tyler derp Eh, he was a bit rude.
I got a good laugh to myself when nothing from Hollywood Studios was even mentioned, maybe someday that park will get good quick service... -fingers crossed for Galaxy's Edge-
My 2 cents - Flame Tree Barbecue would be very high on my list of budget friendly quick service.
Poor Pete. Why no sleep? I’m really crabby on no sleep. We love you, please get some rest! We love Ryno so much too! ❤️😍😘🥰
Great to see Pete back, not the same without you bud
I think people are overreacting a bit. Pete kind of snapped a little but I think they all knew he was sort of kidding around. Right after it happened Steve was introduced and it looked like he'd been laughing.
I think this backlash is coming from a buildup of previous videos where he harasses his staff like this and it finally reached a breaking point for most viewers here within the first 30 seconds of the video. People have finally had enough of it.
Andrew Potts Exactly! Taking advantage of being the boss and mocking employees who can’t fire back is among the very worst of looks.
Pete needs to have a few carbs and lighten up! Ryno is beyond awesome and doesn't deserve to be treated that way!
Can you please not berate your employees?
Fav QS meals for my Family: Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Pinnochios at MK. Never done QS at DHS or AK. We wanna try Yak and Yeti, but hear Mixed Reviews. Don't Mind Food Courts especially POP Century. All star Sports is decent too. Wanna try AOA eventually
Geez Pete....chill
Good call Pete. Remember, "There's no business like show business"
Pete is difficult to watch. Seriously embarrassed this was uploaded. So this is why Oliver left. Never believed it until now
Love this!
Thank you guys!
Pete, you should be wearing a Grumpy Shirt! The jet lag has taken its toll on you. Get some sleep and feel better!
The Polite pig wins it isn't too expensive .. and if you are the dining plan !! . Hands down the best quick service in Disney .
It is a good deal on the dining plan, but it’s $10 barbecue priced at $20.
What qs would you suggest for lunch?
where in the world did you get the picture of pecos bill completely empty?! hahaa that place is always insane!
I love Charles’s wardrobe, always looks so nice.
Awakened Soul Whattt???
Susan Sasso 🕺🎶’Cause every girl crazy ‘bout a sharp dressed man🎶🕺
Well that was awkward...
Thank you for that important information.
I love Pete! Just sayin’ 🚝🎡🏰🍿🍭🎢🍦🎠
Over it!
Hey, do they even sell viewmasters anymore??
Is it my imagination or is Pete always picking on Ryno ?
Anita 3kids Ryno & Steve.
How did none of you mention Capt. Cook's, after all the times you praised it through the roof?
somebody give pete a snickers.
I’d love to see a dining review at the garden grove at the swan as I believe it’s the cheapest character meal by a large margin.
They claimed budget friendly I don't think so they picked more expensive stuff so it seems ppl on budget aren't going to go to kind of qs kind of sit down it cost more.
Ryno is the bomb.com well your all awesome
Ryno > Pete

(Even about my listening - the English language). I'd like ask you something. I'll appreciate if you write the name of the restaurants and places mencioned during the video. It'll be so much easier to search them on My Disney Experience. It's only a humble suggestion. Congratulations about the Channel e thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
