Greetings. I'm wondering if anyone else out there has noticed how the use of contractions has significantly diminished in recent years? Contractions make the writing more friendly and accessible - in that they reflect how people actually speak. This of course becomes particularly important, in most cases, for dialogue in a novel or play. Anyone? Anyone?
