    My girlfriend hates farming because I love it so much. She’s recently started saying ‘sooooooooooooo........Ya’.
    I’ve not told her it’s Mikes favourite saying yet, I’m waiting for her to catch on.

    We put 500 hours on our seeder tractor every year so when we grease the drill the oil gets changed at about 250 hours through the season.

    Walk arounds are mandatory. if i dont to a proper walk around and dont document it on my drivers card and something happens on the road that could have been avoided i can be in big trouble.

      Good question but patience and you shall be rewarded. Also I think it is for sale but knowones bought it yet so they just decided to put it on the drill again. It's a bit drier so the 1050 is pulling better but he reckons it's still underpowered.

    Thandie for the explanation Mike , I've in agriculture for 40 years & checking everything on the equipment and the tractor is automatic to me .. Do you. have any hitches on the rear of the seed cart
    maybe you could hitch a pickup behind in case of emergency ?

    I'm surprised those big hyd cylinders don't have brakes in them so if you ever do blow a hose during fold up the drill doesn't drop to the ground?

    Put on 300 hours on tractor per year seeding, not including cart work which is light duty work. Yet use 9? Tractors for seeding which would equate to roughly 3000 hours of seeding and harvest hours. Yeah that’s a lot of tractor seat time...

      The hitch is for towing liquid fertiliser tanks.

    In case your Oil gets spilled is it some BIO Oil to not contaminate the ground ?

      Bio oil is a pain in the ass to deal with!
      It bonds with dust and creates something that could best be compared to taffy so it's nearly impossible to get off with just a powerwash so you end up having to use a knife or spackle or something similar..

    Poison the gophers in the spring and turn them into fertilizer. Might not get all of them but at least some.

Les portions de terres ensemencées sont les terres qu’il possède ou loue, il y a des portions qui appartiennent à d’autres agriculteurs qui ne peuvent pas encore être ensemencées.Ils viennent d’ensemencer environ 1800 acres de terre et se déplacent maintenant vers une autre « ferme » pour planter plus.Ils plantent environ 40000 acres
