this wonderful lady was one of my first school teachers, its so typical of her to continue to want to share and educate others. she has always been an inspiration. she was one of my grandmothers friends too so I new of her sight loss but not the CBS .

I'm about 7 years late to the party here, but I want to say how lovely Bee is and how much I'm rooting for her!
At 46 now, I look back at when my amazing grandmother was going through macular degeneration and at some point she began to comment occasionally about strange things she'd seen. Although we all knew about her vision loss and she was being treated for it, none of us were told to expect the chance of Charles Bonnet syndrome and so none of us were sure what to make of my grandmother's visions. I so wish we could have been more of a support in that area and that our doctor had known to prepare and offer support to her! What a shame. She got on with everything, but it saddens me to think that she bore this challenge essentially alone even among the company of family.
Thank you for the work you do and for sharing Bee with us! xo

My nan had this, she used to sit in her bed looking out the window laughing and giggling because the birds turned into naked men jumping around the trees

I'm watching this for a school project. Her story inspires me a lot, and I decided to add her story to a part of my presentation.

Bee is very much enjoying supporting and counselling fellow CBS suffers these days. Unstoppable even though she has completely lost her sight

My mother had this on top of dementia and arthritis. It hasn't been easy on me. I'd like to take her to country with the remaining of her family there but it's a challenge financially.

I had a blind patient once that complained of soil on her body and around her and she just sat there every morning whiping this “soil” away. I hadn’t heard of CBS so I thought she was just hallucinating because of her age and dementia.
