Shenandoah, Country Road, Take Me Home and Saddle Up are Geoff Country songs for your (ever-growing) list! In the last one, Layne has a great role as annoyed couch buddy, and in the first one, Geoff's piano work is awesome (and Country Roads is of course the sing-along song)!
Shenandoah is still my #1 of Geoff's.

This, and Saddle Up, were some of his earlier videos and very simple, but his talent still shows through. It’s pretty phenomenal when you look at his more recent works to just see how much he has progressed as far as artistic expression in the last few years. I still love these early ones, but then I look at what he’s been doing recently and it just blows me away.
Saddle Up was on an OLD Disney “This was the West” and was sung by Thurl Ravenscroft who is someone Geoff really admires. (he was the person who sang the grinch song in the cartoon and was also the voice of Tony the Tiger on the old Frosted Flakes commercials: “They’re GREAT”. It’s another really fun one with Layne generally being irritated😂
You might want to go out and look for a few of the minis that are Disney inspired. VoicePlay did That’s What Friends are For (the vulture’s song from The Jungle Book), the song from the Tiki Room (Cesar is adorable), YoHo song from The Pirates of the Caribbean ride (Layne is insane), Surface Pressure from Encanto. I think that’s all the Disney ones.
His twang is sort of natural as he was born in Virginia. In a lot of his videos he’ll either say “come on”or “yeah” in that real deep voice. You might really enjoy VP’s Daddy Sang Bass - it’s very country fried!
I’ve tried listening to ASMR to see if I could relax and it usually just annoys me. But Geoff’s voice is so smooth that I have four or five of his slower songs on a repeating loop in a playlist that I use at bedtime sometimes. It just takes away all my stress. Maybe his vocal range is your ASMR trigger!
It's funny to watch these earlier videos to see how he has changed. Years ago he used to always drop his shoulder to go deep. He now can go deep with only moving his hand so that's growth right?! 😂😂

If you enjoy disney I really recommend voiceplay songs - friends on the other side, go the distance, little mermaid medley.

There's so many fantastic options and I've loved seeing you discover voiceplay, geoff, Tim and Home free. I enjoy voiceplay a little more but love the way the fans from all the acapella groups support good music.
Once you get more familiar with home free and their style, I'd recommend their cover of end of the road, and then rob and Austin doing opera. So much good stuff to hear
Geoff is also the one who drew me into the VoicePlay fandom and despite the fact that I love them all he is totally my favorite. You are in good company - many of us who love VoicePlay love Geoff first. :)

He’s not so much ‘putting on’ a country twang as he he just letting it out. Most singers (unless they want to be a country singer) will work to lose that twang. But Geoff was raised in Virginia and then Florida, and sometimes it comes out in his speaking voice too.
Next time you want to have a fun Geoff solo video, try Way Down. He’ll give you more than his voice to think about!

This one was so cute! Voiceplay did a series of ACA Top 10. They did Disney Heroes, Villains and Sidekicks. They are older, Tony is in some of them and you will love them. Also, they were recorded live.

This Geoff cover holds a special place in my heart, too. The Jungle Book the first Disney movie that I clearly remember seeing in the theater at age six (waaaaaaay back in 1978 on the first re-release), though I know I saw a couple of others before it. Baloo was the first animated character that I just desperately wished was real so I could hang out with him.

Geoff has done audio book work as well. He has done The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe as an audio book.
He does some tutorials on how he get those low notes, it's a worth a watch.
Also check out The Charismatic Voice, Elizabeth is her name and she is an Opera singer and she does analysis on all types of music. She did an interview with Geoff it's worth a watch, on your own or if want to react to on your channel.
This takes me back to being a young girl of 13 in 1967. It was a very big deal back then my dad let me go to the movie theatre with my friends to see The Jungle Book. Such good memories this song brings back. If you're a patron Geoff's he's having a live chat tomorrow March 25. See you there.

Thank you for another great reaction to Geoff. If you really want Geoff at his funniest ever then you must please do a reaction video to Voice Play/ one minute musicals : Miley Cyrus. Geoff wrote the music & lyrics to this & it is absolutely hilarious. Also Voice Play / one minute musical: Light Bulb. The music & lyrics are by Eli from Voice Play. Because they are short videos you could do them both at the same sitting. I have been begging everyone to do a reaction to these for the past two months & nobody has. I guarantee you will love them. It doesn't get requested because they were from 2015 & everyone keeps focusing on the newer ones. Not many people even heard these songs.

As a matter of fact....LOL... Geoff has recorded himself narrating stories and poems. My favorite so far is The Raven, and The Funeral of Dan McGee.

I agree, everyone in VoicePlay is amazing and I always find something new to appreciate about each member every time I go through a video, but there's always something about Geoff's voice that draws me in first. For another video that really showcases Geoff's range and VoicePlay's humor in general, you should check out one of the recordings of them doing "Elvira" live! It's another Geoff arrangement and it shows off a bit of how Geoff enjoyed playing with audiences' expectations and interactions!
Yeah, Geoff sometimes has a bit of a southern accent, I find it incredibly charming! If you want some more "country boy vibe" from Geoff, check out "Ghost Riders in the Sky", "Take me home, country roads" or "Saddle up"! Saddle up is more on the fun side while "Ghost Riders" is all-out epic with amazing costumes and western vibes!
I also want to throw out there for your (surely very long) reactions list - The collaborations VoicePlay did with Kurt Hugo Schneider, "Wavin' Through a Window" (Eli really gets to shine in this one!) and "Twenty One Pilots mashup" (Geoff and Eli take on the "Stressed Out" rap!)
I'd also *highly* recommend listening to some of Geoff's narrations in your own time! He stays in that deep, warm voice throughout those (except in The Little Mermaid where he puts on some voices). My personal favorite this month (it changes over time) is his narration of "The Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe. It's truly like being wrapped in a blanket made from his voice. It's also a short and nice introduction to the longer ones he's made!

I agree! Geoff’s narrations are so good. It took me 3 attempts to get through The Little Mermaid because I kept falling asleep. Great for my insomnia, but not what I expected. My favourite Geoff narration is The Landlady.

If you want to 'experience' Geoff's ranges......Oogie Boogie Song, Little Mermaid, Queen in 5 minutes, Blackbird, Enemy, almost anything and everything he does will 'catch' you, just right......I opined, if he could 'bottle' the effect he has on some people, and sell it, he would call it either "Eargasms", or "Panty Droppers"....it is all about his vocal frequencies......>^^

Great reaction.... this was, i believe, his forst solo song and i totally love it, it has such a fun vibe from him! If you are keen to expand your reaction horizon (i know geoff, voiceplay and home free are plenty) there is this singer called dimash. Im not gonna spoil anything, just saying: you will be impressed when you hear him. Start with his 'sos' from the show singer and see if you like it, he has plenty of stuff out there and he is simply amazing!

Geoff actually reads. Look out on his channel, he does mainly Poe stuff (and since I'm just a teenie-weenie lil pansy, I usually don't like horror stuff, and didn't dare to listen to those). So, if you're in for some earth-core-shaking thrill, try them out.

I had not seen this before. And I can't think of a better way to discover it than with you. I love watching people discover music and musicians they love. Have you watched his Ghost Riders in the Sky? Buckle in. And for another bass singer surprise, take a look at Tim Foust's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay" medley. It's on his solo channel. He also does a pretty fine version of Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens. That one is on Peter's channel. Enjoy!

I'd recommend Ain’t No Sunshine. or Ghost Riders in the Sky... House of the Rising Sun is also great. IMO these three top his solo work beyond what you've already seen. Granted I can't think of a bad Geoff song... but those three stand out to me due to their completeness and transformation of the original works, where they feel like they could almost be their own song.

House of the Rising Sun is simple and fun and low - some have described it as him just showing off. So - pick according to which feels like the right mood!
For naming the other Geoffs, Some call them the Geoffettes.😁 They've also been called Geoff, Jeff, Goff (pronounced Jeff) and Daryl.

As for doing a wide tonal range in a short time, whether it's a literal slide or not, yeah, there are plenty of vids where he covers 3 1/2 or even 4 octaves in a short space.
