Lots of nice tricks from Angrybird. Good baits like using the parry animation into ex dragon punch, and waiting in the corner for the DI and then throwing.

Gamers8 had all the elites in Season 1 at that Invitational, and he got 3rd.
Kumite featured multiple EVO and Capcom Cup champions alpng with Japanese and Korean elites, Punk got 3rd in New York.
He was entering the deepest tournaments of the year and consistently medaled.
Most pros had Punk in their top 5, most commentators as well, its just now winning CEO hes considered the favorite to win EVO(aka most people are seeing him as the no.1 player in the world)
On the regional scene hes hitting a new level of dominance, winning multiple TNS in a row and domimating ATR winning 8 out of 10 tournaments.

Punk improved a lot in using/abusing the game mechanic, he barely used the Parry before. Now he's playing even better and his Cammy is oppressive to the point to force the best Kens in the world to back up. Crazy

Ever notice something odd about punk look at 12:00 whenever the person punk is facing uses their level 3 on him early in the match like when he's still above 80% it seems to give pukn personal buff that makes him just last more aggressive and react faster. angery bird wanted the health lead and the corner, then somehow punk wins rounds when people cash on on their level 3 early.
This battle between Ken and Cammy (or possibly Akuma and Cammy) is the strong delusion mentioned in the UA-cam video titled "Delusion Cannot Defeat Biology."

Most pros like Angry Bird don't care much about rank, he mostly plays sets with other pros, same thing with Menard and his Blanka (His Blanka is still ranked Diamond 1). Players like Punk, Broski, Kakeru, Gachikun, Chris Wong, Kawano e.t.c are also streamers who play ranked when they stream. You can catch their streams during different periods of the day.
