Glad to see you take protecting your hearing seriously. So many older equipment operators so often suffer from hearing loss. The loss of hearing happens gradually by the time you recognize it, it's too late.
The land is opening up so well, I love watching you work it. You are so in tune with your machines that they truly are extensions of your hands & feet. Thanks for sharing this, Chris. Look forward to the next steps.
We just bought a 36" piece of conduit to go with the other 2 going across a creek and it was $1200!!! TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! I don't think we can stand much more of this economy!!!!!!! Nice job as usual Mr LD18!!! As usual 🙂
That D-6 reminds me of a gal I used to date, pushy as can be, a fun ride, but you'd be worn out when the ride was over. :) and couldn't wait til the next ride!
Chris you really enjoy your work the reason I say that is Becouse you don’t even have to have any one to help you and you still gets the job done you really or something serious young man
Those power lines - spatial aware at all times. Pipes installed with ease. D6 does a mighty fine job and the sound of it working is music to the ears Dust season already arrived. Stumps are fun :)
It's been a while ago but I guess the town didn't approve allowing you to show you and Justin installing the bridge. That would've been cool. Good work as alway and good to see the D6 earning its keep. I've been looking forward to seeing you clean this mess up ever since you first looked at it.
Yeah I didn't understand why he was needing Town approval to post a video unless it's something the town turned their heads away from and don't want to get skulled on
Sure do love your videos, especially when they come out almost daily. It just amazes me as to how good you are at running all those different pieces of equipment. Can't wait to see you do another pond or work some more on your house. Thanks for all the great videos.
Chris it is nice to see a excavation guy that actually evoking. UP here in Indiana .We have a company that thinks they are engineers. I call them Fred and Barney. Keep up the grate work.
Just wanted to say thanks. Your videos made me want to become an operator. I am now NCCER certified in Dozer, Excavator, Front End Loader, and Backhoe. Cheers!
Have you thought about the new skid steer bucket with the grinder on it for leveling up and getting rid of the rest of the brush and sticks after you're done with pulling the stumps. Just thought it might save time and fuel. Looks great Chris.
The big Cat will push almost anything but it isn't much for fine grading. The Komatsu does an excellent job of it. That one reason to have more toys (even if that is always a good thing) he has the tools to do the jobs they do best.
My county requires new home sites to have a strip of concrete poured next to existing asphalt roadway to prevent edge breaking. One of your least favorite jobs, digging stumps. Wilma doing great clearing the scrub and briars.
After looking at it since you got it I will finally ask something. Why don't you get a short pipe and extend the D6 exhaust to slightly above the cage? It wouldn't take much work or material and could be braced to the cage without compromising any strength. Every bit of diesel exhaust you can avoid breathing is a good thing.
Also a couple of Hooker Header and Summit Racing stickers to help his elapsed times. Maybe he wouldn't need a calender to measure the quarter mile times.
A Driveway to Install not a gread Work for You. Then farther Work with the Excavator, A pair Stump and Roots to pull out. All Roads out Material to great Heap to Form. That by ideal Weather You can Burn. The farther Day Road out You with the old Cat Dozer the Thicket by Sun Weather. Good Work and Video. Thanks. 💪👌👍
So when are we going to get to see where you built the pond on the other side of the road? And are you going to use some of the concrete you crushed for the driveway? Or will it be cheaper to just order from a quarry?
I have finally come to realise that you Chris, are probably more accurate with the excavator bucket than I am with my hand on the end of my arm. Skill Chris, respect to you. 👍
I’m still amazed how you have the touch with the controls of all the machinery, impressive as always.beautiful piece of land.time to add to the fleet, how about over the road dump truck.never know just might come in handy.great video.great job.just keep doing your thing.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Chris it seems like the new microphones make the Komatsu sound great no more bad sewing machine sounds. And I wood like to see the D7 pull A truck in half again that was so Fing cool....
I guess 5 or 6 loaded Concrete Trucks won't crush that tube. I've got 24" of dirt over mine. It's got heavy stuff across it several times a week. Occasionally a 68,xxx lb Excavator or a 6R on a Lowboy as well.
Looks like Mr. Bealy Good is going to be busy selling another lot Chris sculpted out for him. Yuppers, not just clearing it. Chris sculpts lots like Michiangelo painted.
Always a joy to watch .Dirt doesn't burn...
Glad to see you take protecting your hearing seriously. So many older equipment operators so often suffer from hearing loss. The loss of hearing happens gradually by the time you recognize it, it's too late.
Huh? 😂
Pardon ,I didn't catch that !
@alexcarr8503 You're right!!!👍👍👍👍
Wish I could go back to my teen years driving heavy equipment for a landscape farm . Lost so much hearing in those years, you never get it back.
The land is opening up so well, I love watching you work it. You are so in tune with your machines that they truly are extensions of your hands & feet. Thanks for sharing this, Chris. Look forward to the next steps.
I have seen a lot of operators none as smooth as letsdig 18, a pleasure to watch.
I enjoy watching guys install culverts that know what they're doing.
Thanks for a nice video!
Enjoying listening to the growl of the D6!! Good to see her back in action!!
I can just hear Geoff telling the prospective buyer,"I got a real good guy who can clear the lot for you."
We just bought a 36" piece of conduit to go with the other 2 going across a creek and it was $1200!!! TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!

As always just another letsdig18 perfect job
The D6 with the rake is awesome! Those teeth can go down into the first 10 or so inches of soil, which is where most of the roots are
That D-6 reminds me of a gal I used to date, pushy as can be, a fun ride, but you'd be worn out when the ride was over. :) and couldn't wait til the next ride!
Just an idea Chris..... You should take GPS coordinates of your burn pits in case someone decides they want a pool digging out later.. 🤣
😂

Git'ner done! Have a great evening Chris, take care and God Bless ya Brother!!!❤😊
I would love to have Chris come look at my pond and help with it. He does amazing work.
How much money you got, Bro?
@@roberthenry9319 I think where's he located might be more of a problem . . 🙂
As always a great job , Mr. Chris .
A nice little short Chris Letsdig18 episode on a Sunday evening to watch is always nice.

I love watching the D6 put in work. The sound of it is awesome!
Would love to see the D7 with a root rake take on those saplings!
It would be a BAD TIME if you found a nest of wasps with the D6 like you did with the 220 a while back.🏃🏃🏃🏃
I was thinking about just this! I wonder just how fast can 'our Chris' run. :)
Sure do love your videos, especially when they come out almost daily. It just amazes me as to how good you are at running all those different pieces of equipment. Can't wait to see you do another pond or work some more on your house. Thanks for all the great videos.
Love clearing trees and brush too .
Love the Turbo whine
Love the ole d6. Doing great job
A 20mph wind is pretty normal for summer time here in Western Australia. We call it the Beastly Easterlies. Dust and crap everywhere.
Looks like another nice house lot coming together!
Job well done 👍🏻
The D-6 purrs like a contented ole kitty cat, always a pleasure watching and listening, nice clean up, thanks for the update sir, enjoyed watching.
Chris it is nice to see a excavation guy that actually evoking. UP here in Indiana .We have a company that thinks they are engineers. I call them Fred and Barney. Keep up the grate work.
So now Chris is working on grates? "Evoking"?
Whatever it takes to make a buck. Evoking grates 10 hours a day.

Except it's not a grinder. it is a rake for finish work
going to be a nice lot to build a house on.. beautiful soil, thanks for the video
Great weather to operate an open pit dozer.
That D6 does things that Komatsu only dreams about.
The big Cat will push almost anything but it isn't much for fine grading. The Komatsu does an excellent job of it. That one reason to have more toys (even if that is always a good thing) he has the tools to do the jobs they do best.

In wis they own the right of way , so they have to blacktop to the lot. ps, they took the land away and stopped reimbursing us tax$ for that land.
The d6 is doing a great job great video thanks Chris
Does not take long with the D6 and digger to clear a good amount of land bro, looking good too. Safe travels. Ken.
Chris, I never get tired of your videos. You are one busy man. God Bless and Stay Safe.
He says it doesn't bother him. I think a 12 inch long chrome pipe would get him at least 30 more horsepower and 20 mph more but just my opinion.😂
Also a couple of Hooker Header and Summit Racing stickers to help his elapsed times. Maybe he wouldn't need a calender to measure the quarter mile times.
Well Chris if you accidentally knocked down the powerline it would be a "Shocking Experience ".
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
I would love to see you have a bigger Volvo digger Chris
Now this is something I can enjoy watching
Chris your knocking out some land 👍🏽you laid that pipe perfectly ! Now let’s see if they’ll be a pond on the property
That looked like a bumpy ride at times but your camera was doing a good job of stabilizing the video!

Geoff, is someone going to farm the ground this growing season or is development going to start this spring?
Most of the lots are sold. I’m assuming any leases would be expired.
Lots are sold pretty much. I have an update video coming out Tuesday.
Good morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So when are we going to get to see where you built the pond on the other side of the road? And are you going to use some of the concrete you crushed for the driveway? Or will it be cheaper to just order from a quarry?
Thank you and have a great day.
Had a not sure idea. Would running the ruckus rack save time with that little stuff.

ear protection will pay dividends
He is using earplugs.
An "Air ride" seat added to your D6 would probably help your back !
👍
Im glad Bealygood is keeping you busy. As he said the other day, you got stuff to pay for and more to buy.
Could you use a discer to turn the soil and get rid of the little twigs?
Will we ever see a rake on the D7?
Just curious. Would it not be easier to use skid steer with mulcher then use dozer to finish.
so talking about thumb pressure is that adjustable ?
Chris , have you ever thought about extending that exhaust on the D6 up about 4 feet .
Sure is a rough ride on the dozer.
I guess 5 or 6 loaded Concrete Trucks won't crush that tube. I've got 24" of dirt over mine. It's got heavy stuff across it several times a week. Occasionally a 68,xxx lb Excavator or a 6R on a Lowboy as well.
That’s aggravating clearing .
I don’t know who your dad was but he was like mine great work ethic’s.
You can hear the D6's turbo whine.
good video
Nice video Chris.
How do you price your time, equipment use and fuel, materials etc? when working on these type of projects for other people
Interesting that Chris gets to figure out where the driveway goes- in TN all driveways have to be approved by TDOT.
I’d assume only on state roads?

Got some "comments" for sure !!!!
I wish ole Betty was fully functional just to she how that 977 would do clearing those lots.

I'm pretty sure all the lots are already sold.
It would be hard to be on the d6 all day every day clearing brush. I bet you feel it the next day when you use it!
Once with the rippers
Hi Chris 👍🏻
very nice tho cie betty tho work acan chris
So when’s the Krypto bucket going to arrive for the 330? I’ve said it from day 1, saying you won’t put a thumb on her but you need to grab things…..
