While I don't use it for EDC, my son bought me a "S-TEC 12-inch pocket cleaver" off amazon and for the price it's a beast. I keep it in my camping bag and while I also carry a hatchet and machete(i like to be prepared never know what is going to break) I have used it to cut brush and baton wood.
It is some type of chinesium metal so it doesn't hold the best edge especially if you use it on wood, but as a cooking knife it's been great . I used to just use my EDC knife to cut food but some people (the wife) think its not sanitary to do the ol' jean wipe so having a dedicated food knife that is not super short or long is great.
I probably wouldn't use the rajah even though Cold Steel makes some decent low-mid range knives solely based on the curvature, i prefer straight edges rather than the recurve as a cooking tool. If I had 1 i'd keep it in my car as an emergency tool since carrying an axe or machete in a tesla all the time doesn't go over well with the police
Rajah III would be more pocket friendly, somehow. For authenticity you can do the locking mechanism test, even in a sofa just strike the spine of the blade, a fake tri-ad lock could fail even just whacking the spine in a sofa.
That looks like a Knockoff , definitely not a AUS10A version like I have ,but it could be a ole version but maybe not 🚫
It was sent to us by a viewer to review. I’m honestly not sure of it’s legitimacy, because I’ve not seen one of these in person before this one.

Well very thing you said was good and would apply to a original, so it's a good video just the same ,but be careful with the blade until you find out if it a authentic Cold Steel Rajah II. ⚔️🦈⚔️
it is either that or the old AUS-8 version, i know that is what the old packaging looks like
It looks kinda fake. The box looks wrong and I don’t think the real knife ships in a cellophane wrap
It ships in bubble wrap
