As a Pakistani who doesn’t speak Urdu very well I thought I was going mad when I read the lyrics on the coke studio version. You’ve just confirmed I understood most of it correctly. The only line I heard/understood differently was the line ‘dil ka makaan na raha’ as the (my) heart no longer has a home. Or that the hearts home is gone. I took this as their hearts had made a home in each others but the arguments and harsh words has evicted them. He no longer resides in hers and she no longer in his. Maybe that’s what you were saying too but I couldn’t tell. Thanks again!
