Mohanpura RBC Irrigation Project - Hindi

This video is about an Irrigation Project is in Rajgarh District in Madhya Pradesh to irrigate the Upland Areas. The state of the art innovative Technologies are used to provide Smart Solutions to the farmers. The farmers in this project would irrigate their crops through Micro Irrigation Systems like Drip / Sprinkler Irrigation Systems. Unlike the conventional canal systems this project is fully design by close conduit Pipeline with 100% conveyance efficiency. The design is also equipped with Latest Bladder vessel based Surge Protections, Air Management Systems, Outlet Management Systems, Rotation Management Systems, etc., The Project is also equipped with state of the Art hSCADA and automation systems with wireless communication Radio network.
All the equipments in the field are built in with Vandalism Alerts. This will send a notification to the Central Control Room if somebody is trying to open the door of the OMS, AMS, RMS, etc.,
The project also has pipe leakage alerts and it will be easy to identify if any leakages happen due to damage / pilferage and the repairs can be takenup immediately and the system can be restored with in hours.
The farmers can plan their Crop Calendar and according the Irrigation Scheduling is prepared as per the water allocation /availability for the coming season.
The farmers can receive SMS as to when their farm valves are open, how much water is delivered, how much rain have been given on the standing Crop, how much is the left over water, etc.,. This will enable the farmers to plan their Agricultural activities accordingly and maximize their Yield and Quality of the Crops.
The Farmers are also provided with a Mobile App with a built in Agriculture Advisory and market linkage giving day to day prices from the mandies across the country.
The main objective of the Project is to improve the over all efficiency to 85% unlike the conventional canal systems with only 35% efficiency. Hence this is a water conservation project of the future. It is in line with the Government's Policy of Har Khat ko Pani.
The Project also aims at achieving the Prime Minister's Dream of Doubling the Farmers Income.
