It was so nice to meet Terry and Lori in Ripley, and I made the cut. This was my first Ragbrai, and your advice and videos from last year were super helpful. What a week ! Your videos help to keep the memories alive. Thanks for what you do ! - Paul from Mass !
Jefferson was our first stop on Tuesday too. HyVee Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast. They powered us through our first century on the tandem. We left a little later than you so it was overcast from mile 70 to the end for us - made the day much more tolerable. Thank you for the videos. The Nice couple on an Awesome Bike.
I think we passed each other a few times this day. If I remember right, this was the day with the big cracks on the roads that just beat you up all day. Did the same and just wanted to get the day done. I did a breakfast burrito while you went for the tacos. I did catch a 10-minute nap in Luther next to one of the buildings. Enjoying the videos. Have a great morning.
I remember this day. It was hot and tough, but as we both know it got harder and hotter. I hung out in Luther for a while, drank alot of water and tried to recover. I ended up riding thru the stadium as well because I had to ride that far to get something to eat. And then back to camp right next to Pork Bellies. what a long day. I still had fun, but it was a challenge for sure.

Awesome job nice couple!❤ I couldnt be more proud of you both! Not for riding 1000 miles in 120 degree heat, but for showing off your HUSKER PRIDE!
Thanks Lisa! One hell of a ride. GBR!

It's hard to believe that day 5 and 6 were even harder. We dug deep into our soul to complete those days. 😁😉
@terrymackel2907 I was doing some serious hurting, but I wasn't going to quit.
