Some New York folks still got that hate for Tupac because it boils down to proximity of their home (Home is were the heart is )

Fun fact... When Tupac was alive Jay-Z was in Las Vegas supposed to do was show well apparently Jay-Z was so scared of Tupac because he heard he was looking for him that he would not leave the hotel room until Suge found out call Jay at the hotel room and told him he's all right he's good to go Pac said he can do his show and leave and that's exactly what he did lmao

Nah hip hop has included battling since day one. It fell off because ppl put money, endorsements, strippers, and drugs over the art. Once social media took over hip hop became nothing more than a social media trend that people with less talent can capitalize on....and thst also lowered the bar for industry talent in general.

As someone that lived through the era, the thing about the loss of 2pac physically, is that 2pac was the definition of an artist. He set the tone in hip hop. And followed no one. He had no interest in fitting in. No fakes was getting on back then. You would be discredited immediately. All the successful had to bring the 'A' game to the table every outing.

I wish when you guys do a reaction you would educate yourself about the artist. The reason hip-hop is falling off is that rap today doesn't rap about anything. The rappers before gave this new generation a platform to speak the truth about the streets and good times. Tupac made a comment that when hip-hop stops speaking with a purpose then we end up with the stuff we have today.
