No joke but I actually interned with the SFO airside operations department last summer and it was an absolute incredible experience! I learned so much about that department during my time interning there. While interning there, everyone in that department was very welcoming and helpful to me, making sure I got a full understanding of airside operations.
How did you get that internship position? Where did u apply? Was it paid? What role did they have u do? I’d love to do that too!

@@KuostAsorry just seeing this comment now. I applied through the sfo job careers. Every time a job pops up I receive them. That’s where I saw the summer internship job opportunity.
@@KuostAit was a paid job and I basically was learning everything about airside operations as well as having two big projects. It was overall a learning experience for me but definitely opened up a new career path for me.

Who ever does your editing *IS A BEAST!* So enjoyable to watch the OPS content. _and I watched it from the cockpit for many years..._
OMG it would be a dream to spend a day with air ops and taking photos and videos of the planes. OMG.
I love that they do a walkaround of their trucks, just like a pilot.
Bus drivers do the same. If any damage is found then you can say it wasn't you & you report it.
I suppose it's probably common for professional drivers. I had never thought about it. It makes good sense.

Well I can safely say that my love , fascination, admiration..all the above.. for aviation.. has soared to even new heights after watching this. Just incredible. I bet that water wasn't so calm in those storms last week!

Great Video, years ago I was lucky enough to have friends at PA ops at Newark who were able to take me on ramp airside as well.

This was so fascinating. We stayed at a hotel close to SFO a few months back, and my wife and I asked, "What are all those vehicles on the tarmac for?" We tried looking it up and couldn't find anything definitive, so, thanks for this video!
