Welcome to Singapore :D usually the more popular areas like Newton Food Centre or Lau Pa Sat are more expensive. The local neighbourhood hawker centres are where you'll find food for under 5SGD (usually the basic ones like mixed veg rice, noodle soup or chicken rice. @@ThePassportCouple The ‘tubes’ in the stingray are actually the bones of the fin. You need to scrap the layer of meat off the top, then flip over and scrap the other layer.
Why would you eat hambergers when you could have roast duck rice chilli crab and thousands of other great hawker foods. And before anyone says chilli crab is too expensive go to No1 Maxwells - 25.00!
Hi Chris 👋 This is a great point. The hawker foods are absolutely amazing and we ate a lot of it, and still talk about it on a regular basis. Singapore isn't New York tho. I think Hong Kong more like New York. But gosh I miss Singapore. Stuck in the us for work for now. Can't wait to go back. I'm tired getting chase by homeless people day and night. And finally can be able to go out without worrying about getting rob.
The many flashy cars you saw are NOT representative of Singapore. It’s because you were at Orchard where the rich hang out. Most people don’t drive Mercedes Benz as well.
Thanks so much for taking time to share your thoughts, we are visitors in every country we travel to, but we really appreciate getting input from those that live there and experience it every day. Thanks for reaching out 🙌

Americans may think calling a city "like NYC" is a compliment, but its actually an insult. We don't want your homelessness, your violent crime rate, your rat infested graffiti covered subways, your police brutality, etc
Hong Kong is more of the NYC of Asia in terms of density, diversity, buzz, grit etc. Even though Tokyo is the largest city on earth and you can fit 30 Manhattans in Tokyo, it doesn't have the diversity and grit of Hong Kong, that is more similar to NYC. Singapore is too tiny to be the NYC.
Amazing information, thanks for sharing 🙌 We are truly excited to visit both cities when we can. In fact, we have been looking at the news daily to see when Japan is opening. We are thinking early 2023 if all goes according to plan. And I had no idea you could fit 30 Manhattans in Tokyo. That is a pretty incredible stat 😀

Thanks for the great comment, we appreciate it 🙌 The COE system is a very interesting concept, and we hadn't heard of anything like it in any other country we have traveled to.
Loved the way ya'll described the sambal stingray as "Mexican" hahah can't unsee it now!
Thanks Shawn, that is too funny 🙌 We are sure most wouldn't describe it that way, but we love Mexican cuisine and for some reason, the seasoning and spice just reminded us of it 😀 Thanks for leaving us such an awesome comment 🙌
@@ThePassportCouple The ‘tubes’ in the stingray are actually the bones of the fin. You need to scrap the layer of meat off the top, then flip over and scrap the other layer.
@@pingteo6104 That is great information, thank you. We will definitely have to try it that way next time. Thank you so much 😀

Great review👍
Thank you so much 🙌
Keep success stay healthy🙏
@@andrewwlt5330 Thank you so much, we will 😀
Now COE I’m Singapore is a 100 000! So expensive!
Wow, that is really expensive. Thank goodness the public transportation is so good there 😅
Why would you eat hambergers when you could have roast duck rice chilli crab and thousands of other great hawker foods. And before anyone says chilli crab is too expensive go to No1 Maxwells - 25.00!
Hi Chris 👋 This is a great point. The hawker foods are absolutely amazing and we ate a lot of it, and still talk about it on a regular basis. But we live on the road and Burger Shack is one of our favorite restaurants from back home so whenever we see one (which is pretty rare), we have to stop. But chili crab sounds amazing so we will add to our list of things to try next time we are in Singapore. Thanks for watching and sharing this awesome recommendation 🙌
Thanks for reaching out 🙌
Wau...amazing singapore
Amazing indeed, we loved it 😀
Grab is not expensive actually... it is just ridiculously expensive
That is very true 😅 We were meeting a friend for lunch and had to take one since we were running behind. Needless to say, that was the last one we took aside from our early morning flight. Thanks for leaving us a comment, we really appreciate it 🙌
Orchard is underground city
This is a great tip Muhammad, we totally missed this one. Next time we are in Singapore we will definitely be using the underground walkways in the heat of the day. Thanks again 🙌
If we could put an air-conditioned dome over Singapore, we would.
Thanks for leaving us a comment Victor 🙌 I believe they would, the technology in Singapore is pretty incredible 👏 🇸🇬
Google map suck. Use streetdirectory. I'm a local.
Amazing tip Ron, thank you. We will definitely use this next time we are in Singapore 🧳✈️🇸🇬
@@ThePassportCouple
Yup. It's ironically more detailed than google. I only use google for streetview.
@@RonLarhz Very cool, definitely going to give it a try. Thanks again 🙌
Honestly, I did not enjoy Singapore as much I envisioned when I visited there. The city is just too sanitized, almost boring even.
We appreciate the honesty Victor. The great thing is there are so many amazing countries out there that if you don't enjoy one, there is another one waiting to be explored. Thanks for leaving us a comment and Happy Travels 🧳✈️💛

Singapore is what Vietnam should have been without communism.
it does not rain here all the time. :p please get the facts right. :)
Maybe not all the time, but we did get caught without an umbrella on more than one occasion 😂 But in the end, it was just a great excuse to play in the rain 🌧😀 Thanks for watching and leaving such a fun comment 🙌
Hahahah lots of underpass…..dont use your google
Such an amazing tip, thank you for letting us know. We will definitely keep that in mind moving forward 🙌
Stop migrating to singapore! Our country is too crowded and jobs are not enough for locals. Please kindly go to other countries.
Thanks for leaving us a comment 🙌 We were just visiting and do not live in Singapore. With that said, we can understand why people are moving there as it is a wonderful country 🇸🇬💛
Singapore is a boring country long term and definitely not sustainable but yes, green, with trees.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We were only there a short time, but really enjoyed it and were impressed by their dedication to pairing green space in their development projects 🇸🇬💛
my first impressions is everything in singapore are SUPER EXPANSIVE AND NOTHING ARE NATURAL TO EXPOSE ...
Thanks for sharing your first impressions, it’s always good to have different perspectives 🙌
Dj do you comment in every travel videos on Singapore and put Singapore down just to say how good malaysia is?😂 I’ve seen you everywhere dude.
