You'll get it. Its basically knowing what the bosses do and how to kill them quickly. Along with knowing your route after that. This games cool since you can counter every attack making it less bs then some of the other souls games
@@antgarza4031 idk about that. Sekiro depends on perry timing and breaking posture to kill everything. There is no other way. Where the souls games are not this way. In souls you need a perry shield or fist in your offhand to work. There's several other ways to fight in the other games.

I’m kinda new to the speedrunning scene, can anyone tell me why Dist sometimes waits a while before logging his time saved? For example at 27:50 he kills Corrupted Monk and it looks as though he should have saved like 40 seconds, but he waits for ages and logs it once it gets to -0.8. I know i’m missing something here i just dunno what

I'm honestly curious, because I'm not aware of the ruling on this game, considering it's impossible to do all in one run.

Probably has to do with not wanting to glitch the game. Fps makes or breaks the physics in these kind of games by from soft.
