ALLT is such a good band. Every single song they have is a banger, and the amazing THALL vibes set them apart from almost every other generic metalcore band. This is their year for sure.
Another coolness factor is having Buster Odeholm as their producer and mixer

The youtuber Bogdanhxc uploads a Video with his preffered releases for each Month and at the end of the year for the whole year.
Its a great way to find new artists in 2-4 mins per Month, if you like that quick input concept

The Gloom In The Corner is my favourite underrated band that I think should be way bigger. Their whole discography is a storyline they made up, 8-string tuning, each song on the new album sounds so unique.
I wish this comment got pinned, so everyone could get a little misanthropic.
They were in my spotify top 5, because in the gym they reign supreme for motivation.

Still disappointed that Nik hasn't given them the spotlight with a reaction. He heard New Order on a stream and seemed to enjoy it, but then just completely forgot about their existence. They put most metalcore bands to shame, particularly ones that are actually popular that Nik will promote.
One band I’ve really been into is an Australian melodic death metal band called Be’Lakor. They have a very atmospheric but still heavy sound and all around good music
I've really loved what I've heard from them. Similar to a lot of Insomnium's stuff.
Stone's Reach is an amazing album, and one of not too many Death Metal albums I like

Ithaca's They Fear Us is an absolute banger, love that loose, almost Converge esque chaos segueing into the clean choruses.
Frontières keeps getting out some sick bangers and they will release a new single in april!

Entheos absolutely killed it with the new album. I've been listening to them since they released the Primal EP and they just get better with every release. They deserve so much more attention than what they get.

Yesterday I went to see them with Archspire but unfortunately I missed them as they were the first band playing and the trains were rough. On our way out i was standing in line to get my bag and coat and i was standing next to the merch stand and saw this awesome lady at the stand. The commented on my tattoo and was just awesome, then i made the biggest mistake in small talk: "Are you working as merch staff for this tour?" She said she was the lead vocalist of Entheos, and I felt like a complete dumbass, which i told her. I wanted to buy a patch but didn't have cash and it was cash only so she gave me a free sticker. Awesome people, and I still feel like a dumbass! Ill have to go and see them again sometime.
Yes! Been a ride-or-die since Primal and I'm trying to hype them up to anyone who will listen ever since! The new album already feels like the best yet with how much work Chaney, Navene and Evan put in!
It chaps my ass that the two closest upcoming tour dates to me, Portland and Seattle, are happening RIGHT as I go on vacation 😞 first world problems.

Monolith Zero is a band that in my opinion is extremely underrated. Their music and sound is a complete experience I'd def recommend checking them out!
Still waiting on a The Gloom in the Corner reaction. Best album of 2022 with Trinity. Blows so many other popular bands out the water, and everything about the band is absolutely something you enjoy.
Some bands I'd be happy to see in another video would be Stain The Canvas and Aviana, I found them pretty recently and I'm loving their stuff

I listen to metal every now and then (I mainly listen to EDM) and most of the time when I'm listening to metal, I play some Orbit Culture and I really recommend that band 👌

I discovered Sentinels cause of you, you featured a snippet of the song Embers by them and that 15 seconds had my curiosity at max and then after listening to the whole album i was just hooked.

The new Entheos is my AotY so far. Each song flows so well into the next. It feels like one 40 minute song. At the same time, you can listen to each song on their own and they are just as good. Amazing
Awesome format, i always wanted to see something like this on the channel. If it will become a monthly video series it would be cool. I want to recommend some bois like The Gloom in The Corner, liveconformdie, Sleep Waker and Akuma Six. Hope at least one of them will become a big one

Still think people should listen to japanese metalcore more so I’m glad that u’ve included Knosis. My personal favourite band is a band called ‘coldrain’, they have a track with Ryo and every single one of their songs are absolute bangers year after year.
Agreed! Soo many sick bands coming out of Japan right now, stuff like paledusk, deathnyann and of course coldrain (love their cover of don't speak)
Yes, so many great Japanese bands do fantastic anime soundtracks like Coldrain. They are also one of my favourites, Mayday is a must alright.
The metalcore scene in Japan is on a whole different level and needs a lot of recognition.

I was really happy to see Viscera on this list bc I've listened to them literally since they put out Lamb to the Slaughter, haha!
Other bands I'd like to recommend are
Black Peaks. They have such an organic and rough around the edges sound that has such pretty melodies and so much variation in their songs while still having a kind of signature sound to them. I find myself always coming back to them bc I just crave the feeling their sound gives me.
Justice for the Damned. Deathcore band who I've seen live with Knocked Loose in 2019 and they just slAP.
Consvmer. They're a german metalcore/deathcore/beatdown type of band.
Blood Youth. Might be a little more known but idk.
Aaaand last but not least: Great American Ghost.

Listen to Akercocke... it has clean vocals and rispid sound similar to Cannibal Corpse-Behemoth. Their black sound is more like Anaal Nathrakh thou, but it has acoustic parts.

Been listening to the new Heavensgate EP since it came out, cause I was a huge fan of the Dealer "Soul Burn" EP before the allegations against their frontman came up (their Guitarist had put his heart and soul into the EP only to be screwed overand be abused mentally) which is why I'm happy to see more of his work and damn good riffs being released. If you're interested in other projects of his, he has also released The "Hunting God Tapes" EP on a project called "Pincer+" :)

Also Imperial Circus Dead Decadence. Their recent album is a definite banger and their vocalist has a massive vocal range to suit

I've been getting big into Callous Daoboys recently. They're a quality mathcore band from Georgia.

One of the bands that got me into metal: Coldrain. Every song is a banger. Not necessarily the hardest band out there but all of their songs are great
liveconformdie is also really underrated its a mixture of metalcore nu metal sometimes trap elements and other stuff especially their track terrorwave is pretty dope

If I may, I'd like to make a request for a video about the best bands that are no more. Maybe "Best Disbanded Bands?" Either way, seeing a list including bands like My Enemies & I, Follow My Lead, Avion Roe, Obliterate, etc. would be kind of cool.

One band that is criminally unknown imo is Currents. They easily write some of the most beautiful, raw music I’ve ever heard.
Not at all anymore they recently blew up again and have over a million Spotify Listeners people definitely know them now.

After watching that video, I typed in Atlas in Spotify and every other band mentioned here was listed right underneath them. Nik literally altered the Spotify search results. Nice, makes it easier to check em all out :)
