Accurate comment. It's a super cool feature but I highly doubt anyone will be able to run a game at high settings while also running the AI locally on a GPU with less than 16gb of VRAM.
AI Assistant: and open more of those s€xy tabs you have opened in your browser. RAM has...no effect in your performance with your left hand.
I mean either that or the dev just didnt optimize the game properly which is most likely the issue these days considering the large file sizes of modern games.
Or it's bad because the game now also runs speech recognition and AI in the background.
(I know it need not do this - you could have G-assist sleep until you press a button - so I'm hopefully being overly skeptical here)

While I have some doubts about how essential a guide is for a game, the system tuning the tool offer could be amazing (if it works optimally)
Guide i agree, but i would be very much interested in being able to ask it stuff about the game's story and world, maybe even with awareness at which point i am as to not spoiler the player
@@dahahaka I think that might be possible with the API. If you unlocked a specific story element you might ask about it later on in case you forgot what it was about or if you stopped playing for a while and then you could ask it what the story was so far without it spoiling you, since it knows what you unlocked and which quests you completed.

@@Gaukh yep agree, this could be exactly what we need as a "Fandom wiki" replacement ingame xD, one reason I like wikis is that I can just click on some ingame lore piece which I don't know what It means and just get that auxiliary information so I can understand the context, being able to just ask follow up questions or have that awareness would be craaazzzzyyyy

It might not be for every player, but accessibility options can always be a game-changer for someone. I can also see this helping smaller children be more confident with trying harder games.

Finally Ark Survival Ascended gets the credit it deserves. The NVidia Raytracing implementation is absolutely incredible. This AI application is also great :)

This would be awesome to act as ship AI in a space sim game, especially if it had direct api / realtime access to game info/state or even perform actions
I both hate and love this at the same time, I don't like hand-holding in game, then again this just takes it to another level for those who need it.

Yeah, just like NVIDIA Game Optimization we have now. Tells me that I should run my games on medium,/high even I get over 120 FPS on max ultra high setting.

It doesnt need a gpu to use, it works on any gpy that on gtx i think so any gpu
the current game optimization in geforce experience always keeps the settings "much too low". maybe AI can convince me in the future to use it - but I´m still skeptical as I know my system too good ;-)

I wonder, is this something game developers will have to spend manual time to add to their games to this softwares library, with all the features, or its sonething that will just keep on growing by itself as Nvidia feeds it.

Just imagine after some years use the assistant in real time and it helps put like Jarvis helps Ironman haha
There are so many games where I would actually use this. Warframe for example is a game I tried to get into several times but I simply could not figure out what the heck to do and have to look up a wiki page just to figure out something simple. IT became so tedious having to keep alt tabbing out to view the wiki that I wasnt even having fun. Id actually use this for that.

Will G-assist allow us to use our own pretrained voice models? As i've got a few voices i'd prefer it to respond as.
Also, for us triple monitor gamers, can you please raise simultaneous multiprojection back from it's early death? As only iracing got that nifty feature. And it's an eyesore to see a crooked game when we got non curved side monitors, as that tech fixed that issue.

Please tell me this will work on my 3080 Ti. I would like it to have G-assist to help me with the graphics settings so I can get better FPS. I am always looking on Google and various forums, and it takes a lot of time. Instead of researching how to fix my game for good FPS or to fix in-game stuttering, I would rather spend my time actually playing and enjoying the game before the day ends.

More important is stable framerate, not the minimum. I prefer playing at stable 120 and will tune settings down to a point my game stays 120 flat everywhere. I dont need 150 unstable.
Very interesting but would be just as great on A.I. it could also be installed on consoles for me without making everything limited exclusively to the PC sphere.

The problem with this thing using wikis is that it takes traffic from them, so why would anyone create guides or contribute to a wiki nobody will visit because everyone will use AI, so no more wikis and in turn no more data for the AI which is a problem, does it fall on the devs to train the AI with game knowledge? Or should the AI be smart enough to figure out things on its own without a need for special knowledge from a wiki? Or maybe the AI will not impact the existence of wikis, but the two things are in direct competition which leaves me wondering, honestly i think the best thing is giving the ai access to all the playthroughs from all players and let it analyze to find out game secrets and optimal strategies, i don't know if it's possible though
maybe in the future developers will be able to provide all the necessary data for it
ai requires human input/info to even work in the first place. they wont go out.

As long as A.I. stays well clear of 1st person shooters (SP or MP) and if it stays well clear of ESPECIALLY aiming or targeting (inc' sound sourcing and LoS) then,.. hm,. kinda ok.
