      You're very welcome, watching your videos and ones like them have inspired me to get into carving. Its very therapeutic, well when I'm not knicking my fingers it is anyway. At the moment I'm just learning the basic cuts and safety but I'm enjoying it alot.

    This has to be my favourite spoon design. Really enjoyed the class on BoonTV on this spoon along with the rest of the courses. Thanks for sharing your craft!

      Cheers brother! It is a timeless and sturdy style found all around the world for a reason. Hard to get right despite its simplicity.
      Thank you for supporting me and investing in proper instructions!

    What do you think about stubai's carving axes, also known as "Zimmermannsbeil" ? Have you tried one yet?

    • @woodsmansfinest3814
      @woodsmansfinest3814  4 роки тому

      It is from my area. Great tools but not optimized for carving. Check out my axe designs through the link below and the videos I made about them. Cheers

      @@abbasduman6963 honestly, a good carving axe is an investment you make once in your life. Get a good one and the difference will be huge. Have a look at my Journeyman for an allround axe designed by me based on a decade of experience.
